The sandlot offense for the last few weeks has been Adams/Cobb/Jones + R.Rodger + J.Kuhn + A Rod + Random assortment of 5 OL.

That seems to be their go-to personnel grouping when they need to move the ball late in the game, with Cobb and Kuhn running the ball and Kuhn + R. Rodgers releasing or blocking.

When there are 2 WR's blocking and 1 DB to beat. Can't scheme around players fucking up.

But you can scheme around players and their weaknesses. Pretty high risk, low reward scenario given how fundamentally unsound Cobb and Adams are and that there was no time left.

Congrats Ras.

Any complaints about this offense go back far before this game - not ignoring the Minny D, just commenting on how godawful this offense has been for a long time now.

A one-and-done team. What a disappointment.

And that is really the no huddle lineup plus Kuhn.

For a team trying to lose - they sorta tried at the end. And another red zone int by arod. Is that 3 games in a row now?

Oh well - we'll be hosting Seattle in NFCC - mark it down.

10-6.

2nd in the NFC North.

Playing an NFC East team in the first round.

Just like 2010.

slight difference in the way we headed into the playoffs

2010 won 2 huge games to end the regular season
2015 look like total shit in last two games

Gonna have to beat Arizona I think. Seattle gets Carolina if seeds control the matchup.

3rd down from the 40 with 15 seconds left. You realistically want to pick up 10-12 yards and then have time for 2 passes from the 30. I'd say a quick out with 2 WR's blocking in front is pretty low risk. Sure, you can argue it could have gone to Cobb with Jones/Rodgers in front instead of Rodgers with Jones/Cobb but I have little problem with the call. There were no other defenders in the TV screen but Rhodes.

I think there is a chance this team gets rolled next week. What's-his-face is putting up huge numbers and is in need of a coming out party. Can't think of his name, but not-Connor-Cook.

I am looking forward to the "Banjo" to judge the mood of the team. If it's bad, I expect them to get rolled. If it's a "eh, we didn't mind losing", then it might be game on.

Who cares?

Not the guys who size the Packers up for their rings.

Because he can catch?

A drop would have been more beneficial in this case, though. Richard Rodgers will not be a regular contributor on the team next year. You can mark it down. He seems like a nice guy and a solid teammate, but he is just not good enough to play in the NFL. Too slow. You could find 10 guys with his skillset in the next week.

My personal opinion is the notion of trying to lose is silly. This team is just not that good. We have seen the same results since the Denver game. This isn't an anomaly. This team is just not very good. OL is declining/hurt, QB is probably hurt and the WR/TE are slow/terrible/can't catch.

Just didn't think the Pack would win this one going into the game. The offense is just not good enough right now. Defense was solid.

Only if minny beats Seattle which is not gonna happen. Seattle then goes to Carolina and we get back-back revenge games.

That's the thing, I think the defense is playing good enough that even a mediocre offense would make them a solid team.

Thing is - no one expects pack to do anything. That's a dangerous position for other teams. If we get shields and bahktiari back - it's a dift looking team. And maybe m3 has been holding a few wrinkles back for past few weeks. It's the playoffs. A new season. I'm ok but not too homeristic. Panthers/Cards and Seattle are all superior teams but any given Sunday...

Carolina plays the lowest surviving seed. If Seattle(6) beats Minnesota(3), they will travel to Carolina. Otherwise, winner of Packers(5)/Redskins(4) travels to Carolina.
