Rules have gotten too confusing. I think it should simply be catch the ball, get two feet down, don't allow ball to touch the ground. In all situations and areas of the field. If you don't get two feet down or if the ball touches the ground, it's incomplete. Seems like that makes more sense and would be easier to officiate.
