Why would you want a guy one toke away from a yearlong suspension....who also dogs it in practice?

Counting on TT to make any moves is wishfull thinking at best. This guy lives in a different world than we do.

Yup one toke its got to be hard to get the green in Green Bay Im sure we can just tell all the dealers not to sll to him, Im sure there are only 3-4 of them in all of GB ;)

I would also like Ponder to do Kick and Punt returns.

Good point,,,,and Ponder wouldn't be a bad move....

I just think it would be easier for Rogers to stay out of trouble in GB resurect his career ala Rison and Ponder Man that guy can return Kicks!

By 3 pm today we should know who we got off waivers. I'm expecting TT to at least pick up a WR and OL.

Rodgers would be an excellent move. Come on TT...get us a good WR and a great OL.

I wouldn't count on an OL right now. Maybe backup OL, but I don't think he's messing with that starting lineup any.

If him not running full speed at practice is your problem, you could always just tape a bag of weed onto his helmet and put it on a pole so he can't reach it. That'd get him to run hard.

The difference between Rison and Rogers is that Rison acctually played at a high level in the NFL through his whole career. Rogers has been junk since he got in the league. Getting Rison, you took on a good player with some character risk. Taking on Rogers would be taking on crap who also happnes to have a bad attitude. It's pretty hard to compare those two the way you just did.

Yes Madtown and all the limp wristed mods here allow my wife to be insulted and run down. They do NOTHING about it.

So far retailguy, the_idle_threat, and mraynrand have all insulted my wife in this thread http://www.packerrats.com/ratchat/viewtopic.php?t=3159&start=120 and J-Rok has yucked it up.

Real nice board you got here. Why is this acceptable to all of you? No one will admit this was totaly fucked up so I'll just have to keep it going.

I'm undecided on Rogers. I'd say no, but we do need a veteran receiver. I'd take a chance on Tyrone Calico.

Rogers has actually been a solid deep threat though he keeps getting hurt so Jennings you are wrong there.

Just what we need: a deep threat that keeps getting hurt. There are about 30 WR that got cut yesterday. Why is everyone so interested in this one? Is he that much better than EVERY WR out there?

Rogers has actually been a solid deep threat yeah, if you consider 1 35 yard catchin 3 years solid though he keeps getting hurt so Jennings you are wrong there.

And here is the evidence

Rison was one of the NFL’s all time best WR’s. He started strong, played strong through his whole career and finished strong. He was healthy, explosive, reliable and most importantly, productive. He made a difference in almost every game he played. He was a HOF type player from his rookie year and on. There was only one year of his 12 year career that was less productive than Rogers combined first 3 years. You can compare TO to Rison, but don’t bring this Charles Rogers crap to the table. Rison was a great player. Rogers is crap. Ferguson has been more productive.

Im comparing their individual attitudes not production. Rogers has a great chance to be a solid deep threat and good WR.

Acctually, this is what you said "I just think it would be easier for Rogers to stay out of trouble in GB resurect his career ala Rison"

First of all, for Rogers to have to reserect his career, he'd of had to erect it first. Honestly, there is nothing you can say that would make me believe you had even a shred of crediblity in your original quote that I posted above in bold. I think you're just being stubborn.
