The Pro Football Hall of Fame’s selection process continues towards its final stages. The 46-person committee will gather for the annual selection meeting held the day before Super Bowl 50 to discuss and debate the merits of the 18 finalists and then determine the newest class of enshrinees.

We now invite you to evaluate the careers and legacies of these all-time greats and select who you think should comprise the Pro Football Hall of Fame’s Class of 2016.

woodbuck27:

a) Who do you the majority of the fan voting is going for this far?

b) Who are the TOP Three so far.

c) Which of the Final 18 is slotted in for the Fan to date.

Favre is an automatic, unanimous, first ballot HOF QB. It will be interesting to find out which losers don't vote for him. I'm guessing Scott Campbell will be one. :)

Woody, all the ones you listed at least will get in at SOME point. Lynch is the weakest imo

Bret Fave is huge this weekend as the NFL Networks special

I'm hoping for this fella, a recent Green Bay Packer LBer coach:

11) Kevin Greene, LB/DE -- Los Angeles Rams, Pittsburgh Steelers, Carolina Panthers, San Francisco 49ers (times as a semifinalist: 10)

He's in my view overdue and running out of timeas 10 times a Semifinalist.

Kevin Greene played in the National Football League for 15 years. He retired after the 1999 NFL season and currently ranks third amongst all-time sack leaders, leading the NFL twice in that category. He was a three-time All-Pro and was voted to the National Football League 1990s All-Decade Team.

Jim Irsay says Marvin Harrison, Tony Dungy selected to Hall of Fame

8:35 PM ET ....ESPN.com news services

Note:

After a strong pitch to see him inducted:

San Francisco 49ers great Terrell Owens, second in NFL history in receiving yards and third in receiving touchdowns, announced on Twitter that he was not chosen in the 2016 class.

Consummate pro Marvin Harrison elected to Hall of Fame

8:43 PM ET

" Marvin Harrison had his own set of rules on Mondays.

He was routinely on the practice field, too, running routes as if he was facing some of the NFL's premier cornerbacks, not a defensive back who likely got the majority of his snaps on special teams during game day.

That was Marvin Harrison, and that dedication and preparation are two of the reasons he was elected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame on Saturday (6 Feb. 2016). "

Tony Dungy excelled with 'outside of the box' approach, selected to Hall of Fame

8:45 PM ET

Mike Wells ... ESPN Staff Writer

INDIANAPOLIS --

" Yelling, swearing and being overbearing were things Tony Dungy avoided during his 13-year head coaching career with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Indianapolis Colts. He believed there were better and more useful ways to get his message across to the players.

Rather than scream, Dungy taught."

Brett Favre highlights Hall of Fame Class of 2016

Note:

And there aren't many quarterbacks in history more deserving of the spot.

Just take it from NFL Network's Steve Wyche, who reported it took "nine seconds" to induct Favre, per NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. "

Kevin Greene was voted in finally.

" Saturday marked the end of a 13-year wait for linebacker Kevin Greene. Best known for his days with the Rams and Steelers, Greene had double-digit sacks in ten seasons. Greene's consistency, energy, and aggression stand out. It's extremely rare for any player to be a first-team All-Pro three different times for three different teams, including the Carolina Panthers. He could get after the passer in any uniform."

Hey Kevin ..... Congratulations Ehh ! You were one hard playing Defender. You were tough !! :glug:

Why would Tony Dungy be elected to the HOF? So when will Mike Holmgren, Brian Billick, Dick Vermeil, Tom Flores, George Siefert, etc, al...be elected. Hell, they all coached Super Bowl winners, the latter two having triumphed twice.

But I suppose they did swear.

HOF just became more watered down IMO.

esoxx...Feb. is a Special month ..right !? Think culture......

Dungy immediately turned around a moribund Bucs franchise with his Tampa 2 defense and calm leadership. He became the first African-American head coach to win a Super Bowl with the Colts after the 2006 season and retired with a 148-79 record.

1998-10-07 04:00:00 PDT Baton Rouge -- His head bowed and speaking in a subdued voice, San Francisco 49ers owner Eddie DeBartolo Jr. pleaded guilty in federal court yesterday to a felony charge of failing to report that Louisiana's former governor allegedly extorted $400,000 from him to win a casino license.

It wasn't simply Dungy's defense. He and Kiffin compromised. Kiffin kept the 4-3 under and Dungy got zone corners. Boneheads. I normally avoid HoF arguments because of the constantly shifting rationales, but that choice seems odd. Love that Kevin Greene got in.

Linebacker Kevin Greene

Ron Wolf declares Favre the greatest Packer as he has talked to old scouts and they all tell him its Favre.

Now I know why he and Bob got along so well.
