Hang on .... as the heart of 'a REAL Champion' often prevails:

As I write this Jordan is about five feet behind the hole on NO. 16 and if he makes that putt and he will...he's back from -1 to -4 and one stroke behind the leader Danny Willets @ -5. I see a playoff looming.

Ahh No ! He was a bit high with his put and par and remains two back at -3.

Jordan Spieth collapses, hands green jacket to Danny Willett

By Jay Busbee .... 15 hours ago

AUGUSTA, Ga.— " ..Jordan Spieth was on the most impressive run in Masters history ... and then he hit the second nine on Sunday, handing the green jacket (literally and figuratively) to England's Danny Willett.

The 22-year-old had all but locked up his second straight green jacket on Sunday afternoon, leading the field by five strokes at the turn. And then came Amen Corner, and one of the most improbable Masters finishes in history.>."

Comment woodbuck27:

A bit of trivia and Danny Willet's golf game.

I was informed watching TSN Canada this morning that Masters Champion Danny Willet learned to play golf on Par Three Golf Courses where he was reared in England.

Spieth did collapse. Some how I became a fan of his during the last round. I like how he talks to himself and the caddie. It seems like he isn't some programmed robot out there. Still what a fuck up.

I was wanting Dustin Johnson to actually hit a putt but then realized this is the Masters and Dustin Johnson can't putt worth a damn, otherwise it was his tournament for the taking. He was blistering the pin all day on Sunday.

Jason Day just couldn't get anything going all week. I probably pull for Day more than any other player not named Tiger Woods.

Rory isn't the same player as he was in 2014. He is a shell of himself and if he doesn't start focusing on golf he is going to be a memory a lot sooner than anyone thought.

And then there is Tiger. I think he is doing the right thing by healing his body and not rushing back to the golf course. I just don't know if he will ever get his game back to compete with the young guns on the tour. He is 40 years old with several major injuries in his rear view hopefully he can get back to the Tiger of old and just focus and playing great golf.

Jordan Spieth is too good a ball striker and putter to not be the Worlds NO 1 player. I predict he'll take the Masters disappointment as a learning experience and after that let it go. This young man is an amazing player and one to follow if you enjoy Pro golf.

You two guys could have been in my foursome today.

We said about the same shit about the Masters.

I have to admire the way Jordan took his collapse like a man.

I even liked it when he told the cameraman to not shove the lens in his face.

Give a brother a break, he just blew the masters.

What those cameraman did sucked. Yes ....Jordan Spieth contained his disappointment with excellent maturity and I believe gained more fans.

I'm happy you enjoy golf KYPack. When I was in my 20's I was so into golf and competitive 'Match Play' but found that it consumed time away from my family. Guilt took me away from the game.

I think you are seeing the effect Tiger has had on golf with young guys like Spieth, Day, Johnson, McIllroy, and some of the younger fellas that are bringing a more dynamic style to the game. I still don't think any of them can carry the game by themselves like Tiger did but for the first time in my life golf is interesting without Tiger. None of them bring the energy Tiger does on the last day of the Masters where the cheers from the crowd could rival that of any sporting event. Tiger brought chills, when you watched him you knew something special was going to happen. Spieth is sort of there in spurts. Day is longer off the tee than I think Tiger ever was, but he just sort of goes about his business. Johnson is about the same. Admitted that that the coolest thing about Johnson is who he is sticking his Johnson in.

Tiger was sorta like but never got there...."THE GREAT ONE ... Wayne Gretzky".

Like Gretzky we knew all about him before he turned Pro. Like Gretzky he soon zoomed to the T^OP and you knew there was no one in his class.

There it ends as Gretzky was and is immaculate and will always be arguably the Greatest Pro Athlete ....All Time. Gretzky will never be anywhere close to being matched. Here ....you may check that out:
