Packers cornerback Demetri Goodson has been suspended without pay for the first four games of the 2016 regular season for violating the NFL policy on performance enhancing substances, the league announced Friday. He's the second Packers player to be suspended for the start of this season. Defensive lineman Mike Pennel also is suspended for the first four games. Both can be with the team in the offseason and training camp.

Are these guys going off on their own, or is someone on staff not doing their job?

Hurts the depth a little. I guess the good thing he's #4/5 on the depth chart. And the Packers tend to flip DBs often enough...

Couldn't Goodson make the claim based on the trajectory of his career that they couldn't have been performance enhancing drugs?

If he doesn't, we certainly can for him!

I like where his focus is. If we are lucky, he got it from the same place Peyton did and it will be a fun story.

Practice enhancing drugs.

What percentage of the player base use PED's do you think, Woody?

this is pretty good news. He's like on IR to return. He should be ready right when half the corners are out with injuries.

Mhmm. What they need to learn is the half life of these products in their system.

^^^^. Amen. Why the packers haven't hired an MD.PhD from the pharm industry is beyond me.

I see a new definition of "Packer People" emerging the last two years. Guion, Pennel, now Goodson.

At this rate, pretty soon Johnny Manziel will qualify as "Packer People."

...and Jones, and Bush. Is it a coincidence that all are defensive players

Bush, Pennel and Goodson were taking performance enhancing drugs. They're Packer People.

That's really pretty funny. Kind of hurts that it's probably true.

Has anyone stopped to consider if perhaps the chemicals in Dom's spraypainted hair are responsible? If I'm the Packer organization I'm getting an industrial hygenist to conduct ventilation testing of the Packers defensive meeting rooms and also conducting air sample testing on said chemicals he uses for hair, stat!

If the wig is polyester or nylon, could have some VOC action going on.
