Tough to do when you are chasing from behind, if we are being honest.

I would have been more surprised if they had kept him another year.

If we are being honest, his replacements are no better.

Don't actually agree with this. He was a hot mess his last year and injured.

But even if he regained in 2015 what form he had in 2013, the Packers are better off not spending the money for the same work.

I definitely agree that getting him NOW would be foolish. However they have gotten no better and probably worse at the position.

I think they were better with Ryan and Barrington or Ryan and Matthews than Hawk and anybody else they had playing inside at that time.

I'm not on the Ryan bandwagon, but I'd rather have Ryan than AJ from two seasons ago or last year. Hawk's numbers from last year, with the Bengals, were predictably poor.

AJ was/is done.

He was so slow last season, he looked like a cartoon character.

You know that funny way he jerked his head and arms when he was really trying to go fast?

He exaggerated that move even more last season.

It was fugly.

Hawk = the highest pick the Packers had in how long? Waste.

Not a waste. Helped them win a Super Bowl. Especially when Nick Barnett got hurt. Not the impact player they probably envisioned, but not a waste.

Ngata was the one of the few impact picks out of that first round, oh and VD, just a talent poor draft. Not a waste, guy was a decent starter for several years and then JAG.

Michael Smith

" Mr Hawk can't play in The NFL anymore. To slow. Compare him to Bruce Irvin? Bruce is faster Backwards than Hawk is forwards. But someone will pick him up. "
