But their secondary also looks WAY better

Even when we buy time we're not getting open too often

We're on the road in a loud, hostile environment. Aaron always holds the ball though. It's just his style.

ThunderDan

I agree. Two fairly evenly matched teams, but we lucked out big time with turnovers. Bradford might get himself killed. Peterson is done. They're ok. They were better today. I like the Packers better in the long haul.

"Never confuse a single defeat with a final defeat."

Not the best fortune to get right before the Packers Vikings game, so that was a bad sign. But maybe it means we'll go on to win the SB this year. Will have to play a hell of a lot better than that though...

The problem for me wasn't in going for it, in hindsight the three points would have tied it. The problem was the play selection with a pass on third and short and then instead of running a human bowling ball to try to pick up a yard or less they use Starks. That was my issue. Plus I don't think you can criticize him for going for it if you were one of the ones who roasted him for kicking those FG's against Seattle.

For me this loss is pinned directly on McCarthy and Aaron. Aaron was off all night, Vikings D played very well, and his turnovers were dumb rookie mistakes. Mike made some very questionable decisions. Kudos to Sam and the Vikings. Why are we always the coming out party for Vikings WR's??? If Adrian is out for a length of time, which it appears he is, that team is in trouble though.

We've lost at Minnesota before and went on to win the Super Bowl. McCarthy should have kicked the FG. Dumb decision. Other than that, I picked the Vikings in this game. This was likely going to be as tough of a game that we'll play this year, going into the hornet's nest.

He was inside the 10 in Seattle on one, that was the big one.

My biggest complaint was the score and the opponent. I expect Seattle to put up three or more scores. Wasn't sure Vikes could. Defense yielded 17 with a leak at left CB. This was the game to kick a FG.

Rodgers and M3 have struggled against Zimmer before. The pass rush with the noise and silent count hurt both Bulaga and Bach who gave up sacks (and at least one fumble) because of it.

I would argue that pass rush showed up too. We had a lot of sacks and pressures, but couldn't come up with critical stops in coverage. Did it look like the Packer DB's were trying to bump them off the line? They were running a lot of precision routes and shallows, so anything that could have been done just to upset timing and not allow a free release may have been enough. Asking Randall to just run free one on one with Diggs was too much of an ask. BTW, Diggs was taken #146 in 5th Rd. of 2015, and Brett Hundley was #147. How did Diggs last until the 5th? He wasn't even the Vikings first pick of the 5th round. Gotta give it up for a kid with quicks who can get open. I'd like to see more of that on the Packers.

BTW, that was a small receiving rotation tonight. Did Abby get any offensive snaps?

They've got enough talent. They just need to find the rhythm on offense. Rodgers needs to get his groove back. They also need to do better on third down more consistently. That's a bug-a-boo that needs to get fixed fast.

Do they though? Talent? There is absolutely zero speed and versatility on this offense. And with jordy being 30 and coming off surgery, what do we have? Ted absolutely needs to be held aountable for a very limited and one dimensional group to surround aaron. And Aaron needs to be held accountable for being the centerpiece in control of a complete shit show

I thought Jordy was running fine. He and AR are not in sync yet. Jordy had a couple of catches that looked like he did in 2014. The O line had a rough time in the noise and MN's pass rushers are the real deal. Its only week 2. Step away from the ledge gentlemen...
