ILB has been a gaping hole for years. It looked like we finally had a couple of players in Ryan and Martinez. Bradford was on the practice squad this week. He will be the starter next week.

Can't have pro bowlers as backups in this league.

Capers put Joe Fucking Thomas on a fast WR (Chowder?) on that crucial 3rd down play, for fuck's sake! Sure, injuries have fucked this d up a bit, but no competent d-cord should ever call so stupid a play like that and leave a fucking LB on a fast WR on an Island, regardless of injuries - not even with Urlacher as your LB.

I think this is the point that is the most on target. Yeah, our secondary is devoid of NFL talent at several positions currently, but the guys up front aren't offering one bit of help by getting to the passer. It is a perfect storm of ineptitude on all fronts.
