only one more win and we're above average!

And if Philly can trip up that Indian team, that'd be great!

But really, the Packers simply do not look talented enough to keep up with the Seahawks this weekend.

Hey, what time is that game on? Will I get to see it in Detroit?

3:25. Most of the country gets the game.

The NFC North Division is going to look worse before it looks better, as we lose to Seattle Sunday and Detroit beats the Bears. After that, however, we will win our final 3 and Detroit will lose their final 3, and we'll take the division at 9-7.

...And then lose at home against the Giants in the wild card round.

..., on a FG in overtime.

Hey, let's not bag on a 9-7 playoff scenario. Plenty of playoff tickets will be available at face value!

We passed on playoff tickets as we are going to be out of town the weekend of January 8th.

I have to admit, I was sort of counting on the Saints to give the Lions problems in NO.
I am starting to worry about the Lions.
Sounds odd, doesn't it??

Last time I was remotely worried about them Billy Sims was toting the rock.

Not even the one spectacular wild card year with Sanders, Herman Moore, Brett Perriman and Scott Mitchell? Wayne Fontes!?

I just looked and the Fontes/Ross/Sanders teams made the playoffs 6 out of 9 years at one point.

Yea, Wayne "I look I need some fucking sleep" Fontes actually did have some pretty good teams.

It was well known by insiders at the time that Wayne had a bit of a pill/coke issue.

But he was colorful.

Who was calling for the Bears to be a trap game for the Lions? Could happen, Bears tied it up in the 3rd quarter. Lions back in front with a FG, but it's a game, and it shouldn't be.
