Damn right. 2 of the best clutch kicks ever. 22-22 in the playoffs is insane.

Before today, only 6 kickers in NFL history had made 2 postseason FGs of 51+ yards in their career.

Mason Crosby made two in 95 seconds.

Based on the recent news reports, the Packers are just fine in the high 5 department.

I think he missed one in the 2010 playoffs (it wasn't of consequence), so he has one miss. Still, his streak is amazing and he's great at onsides kicks. FUCK YEAH MONEY MAN!

I had that slightly wrong. Coming into the game yesterday he had hit 22 in a row in the postseason, and was 26-28. So it's now 24 in a row, and 28-30.

I'm going to give some credit to MM for Crosby. MM has put Crosby in so many 50+ FG positions in his career to help make him into the stud kicker that he is. I remember when a lot of the board wanted him gone and MM stuck with him as he has a dynamite leg and now he's rock solid.

Everyone else is going with 23 in a row Joe, not sure the disconnect.

Mason "Clutch" Crosby. Such a special teams weapon to have in the playoffs. Could his confidence be any higher right now? He's like Longwell but without the shitty attitude and lack of leg strength.

Mason Crosby's performance was most clutch by kicker in postseason history (http://www.espn.com/blog/statsinfo/post/_/id/128604/mason-crosbys-performance-was-most-clutch-by-kicker-in-postseason-history)

The Elias Sports Bureau notes that Crosby was the first kicker to make a pair of field goals of 50 yards or longer in the final two minutes of a postseason game. He twice put the Packers ahead, the last time as time ran out.

So is that equivalent to being like Brett Favre without the substance abuse and dick pics?

I'm thinking I could get to liking this game...especially with players from other teams.

Not me; I fought some in here regarding Crosby. Dude has a nice fluent motion in his kicking, and drives the ball with power. You can't let that go.

Crosby has now made an NFL-record 23 consecutive postseason field goals (Elias notes that David Akers ranks second with 19 straight). Crosby is 26-of-28 on postseason field goal attempts for his career. The misses were from 54 yards against the Cardinals in the 2009 wild-card round and a 50-yarder against the Falcons in the 2010 divisional round.
