ARod is a man among boys right now. I have never seen this level of play from a QB over as long a time. He guaranteed 6 wins to finish the season and now has started a 4 game playoff run.

ATL got the easy track for the NFL playoffs. They had a bye week and then they got the Jekyll and Hyde Seachickens at home. ATL like DAL is already counting the days until the Super Bowl over looking the lowly 4 seed Packers.

In a game eerily like last week, the Packers jump out quickly on the Falcons and get a nice lead. Then the D hangs on as best they can to finish the game.

Packers win 38-34.

Don't know what to make of this game. How many of the walking wounded will play? Of those that do, will they be healthy enough to be effective? Still, this team has a mental toughness that's hard to beat.

Same as last week.

Time to find some other hobbies for Sunday's rats; our season ends today.

Dom had been on borrowed time trying to keep this defense above water for weeks and he's done a great job finding a way. Today the ship sinks.

Atlanta averages a lot of pts a home an we don't have a drafted player at CB today.

Everything needs to be perfect for our win today; it's time to cherish what we had but reality kicks us in the nuts today.

All the questionable receivers plus Burnett are game time decisions, as yesterday's work ruled none of them out. Yesterday is not trivial in Green Bay, as unlike a lot of teams, Packers do more than a walkthrough on the day before a game.

Burnett and Nelson were the only ones who were listed in the Friday injury report as "limited," which means had the Packers practiced they would have done something. Thus, it's likely Burnett is ahead of the others and a pretty good bet to play.

I actually think this is wrong, http://packerrats.com/showthread.php?29483-Official-Packers-vs-Falcons-NFC-Title-Game-Discussion-Thread&p=918088&viewfull=1#post918088

as Burnett was the only one listed as Limited. Which is good news for Burnett, as the article states.

The key is Randall. He's so up and down. When he plays well, this defense is decent. When he's looking around wondering where the Safety help was, they struggle big time.

The run continues as both offense and defense get in on the act.

Ty Montgomery leads the offense with 3 TD's: one rushing, one receiving and one on a kickoff return.

Are you suggesting Rodgers is a cyborg?

I'm not suggesting, I'm saying. Borg Rodgers is inhuman.

Think about it. Strangely detached from family. Didn't attend grandfathers funeral. Why would he? He's not of this planet. He is not human. The whole "family" thing is a front.

His cyborg overlords created him with a timing device to shred the NFL and collect Super Bowl titles. 2010, 2016, 2017, & 2018 were programmed for ultimate glory. Just watch.

Okay, where's sharpcheddar

Hawk was an average starter who played every game. He just wasn't a star. Not good on pass coverage, didn't blitz particularly well, but was gap steady. We could have done worse and many teams did.

For two years he was very good and quick. Just slowly became physically outmatched.

So much for trading touchdowns for even a field goal. Green Bay defense doesn't get a stop - at least hold them to a damn field goal - this game is pretty much over.
