Field Yates @FieldYates
Source: the Packers have cut RB James Starks (non-football injury designation).

Non football injury? EDIT: Oh yeah, the car accident. Not the knee surgery.

Adam Schefter @AdamSchefter
Former Packers RB James Starks was scheduled to make $3 million in 2017. Wouldn't be a surprise to see GB bring him back at lower number.

I would be highly surprised if Starks is brought back. He's old and doesn't offer much of anything.

I think Lacy has a better chance of returning than Starks...and I think Lacy's chances of return are under 25%.

They did this to make room for Adrian Peterson on the roster.

Now if they would cut/trade Mathews. They would be well on their way in the right direction.

2500 career rushing yards in 7 seasons? Not enough.

Matthews is not really an issue. Cap number is, though. Same with Cobb.

right. the idea is to get better, not worse. as for cap numbers...meh. if they're willing then fine but we don't have cap issues and the cap is only going up.
