I really think he has something left and the Vikings decided not to pick up his contract today. If he could be gotten for a decent price, he would be a good pick up.

Can't block, can't catch. Seems like a bad fit.

This was Adrian Peterson's best run of 2016 (13 yards). He fumbled at the end.

Add in he still wants to get paid like an elite back, definitely no.

Someone's going to pay him like a starter. Like Emmitt in Arizona.

Something for acquiring team to think about. This is what really hurt Herschel Walker in Minnesota, changing RB alignments. He went from I Back and zone blocking to counters and split backs in Minny.

Hey, spread teams: Nearly 95 pct. of Adrian Peterson's career carries have come with the QB under center. Column

Here you go rut:

Adrian Peterson and Jamaal Charles are now the big names, but still like Latavius Murray at RB in FA. Less mileage, great in pass pro.

I dont think he will be good but fuck it sign him just to piss off Vikings fans.

Of the 2 I'd rather sign Charles. AP can't pass block worth a damn and can't catch passes out of the backfield. No thanks.

Ap can't pass block, isn't durable, and most likely thinks he still deserves a big money contact. No

Peterson will be 32 next month, a year older than James Starks.

I would be surprised if he lasts half of next season.

I was reading somewhere that murray is looking at 4 or 5 million a year, hardly anything

I'm not sure what to make of Peterson. He's rushed for 1400+ yards as recently as 2015. He looked bad last year, but that was such a small sampling, I don't know if it means much, especially given the state of the Vikings OL.

That said, I'd rather sign Lacy. He's 5 years younger and a better pass blocker.

'names' is the key word there. both of those guys are done.

I'd take AP in the heartbeat; it's anti Ted though. Very doubtful IMO.

Get them back for Favregate !!! lol

And for the fact that AR already has a contract there ;)
