The article does not make clear what

Additionally, the league banned "actions to conserve time" after the two-minute warning of either half.
Actually means. As (badly) written, it would mean running out pf bounds and clocking the football would be banned. I can't imagine that to be the case.

Actually means. As (badly) written, it would mean running out pf bounds and clocking the football would be banned. I can't imagine that to be the case.

I think that means you can't run the Buddy Ryan gameplan and foul your way to the end of the game. Probably gives refs ability on consecutive fouls to NOT remove time from clock. Previously, in theory, you can keep fouling, let the clock run down and win without giving the offense an actual play.

If I'm reading it correctly, they're gonna do like baseball and have replay handled from one league-wide location.
