Looked to me more like he spotted his landing on Adams and jumped into him, then turned his head to "play the ball." Disguised the PI really well, IMO.

Agreed. I completely blame MM for the field goal. What did he think would happen on third and two? He opened the door for Seattle and made it harder for his team in the second half.

Playing the ball isn't an automatic free pass. Incidental contact while playing the ball is allowed but you can't look towards the ball and catapult into the receiver.

But then Bach gave up pressure. He is looking to reset almost immediately. Its not helping him read routes.

No, I don't think he things that for two reasons.

Moving the ball usually works for them against almost all defenses.

In this game drives have been a struggle, but they have gotten yardage all game with the exception of one drive.

I did not like the strategy after first down, when they gained 4 or 5. But I get that he thinks they can score.

Why does it always happen that in a hard fought game as soon as one team scores a TD, the other team moves the ball easily on their next drive?

No kidding...talk about immediately killing the momentum you just gained.
