Harlan Huckleby

I think that was a bullshit replay. You couldn't really see how far ball was from that camera angle

the camera is not directly overhead then line-to-gain

I think that was a bullshit replay. You couldn't really see how far ball was from that camera angle

Agreed. The camera was directly over the 20 yard line, not the 19 yard line. It's going to make it look like he advanced further than he did. Plus, he did not advance it past the 19 yard line--like they gave him. It was to the 19 yard line at best--even with that angle.

well, thats a good point, it can't be directly overhead, or even within 10 yards of the line because it would be in the way

quick, someone do the geometry

Because GB let them run the ball down their throat. Stubby is thinking that if he can give Rodgers the ball and 30 seconds, that they are good.

ThunderDan

What a game, what a game !

Aaron 'MagIc Man' Rodgers creates another exciting 4th Qtr Comeback. It seems he will just get that done.

That throw to Davanta Adams couldn't be more perfect.

The People on the NFL Network will be all over Davanta Adams tomorrow. What he did on a short week was simply courageous.

The Player of the Week!?

Will it be Aaron Rodgers or Davante Adams?

Packers RB Aaron Jones had a solid game.

The Packers 'D' did just enough.

No sense in letting the truth get in the way of a good story I guess.

In the first 4 games this year the Packers have had 115 first down plays. 70 were pass plays and 45 were runs - a 60/40 pass/run rate.

Against Dallas I counted 15 pass plays and 12 runs for 88 yards (7.3 yds/carry) - on first downs.
56/44 pass/run rate.

However the replay showed he did jump for that 2 point conversion, but it looked VERY awkward.

I've seen every Cowboy game this year, and they played a helluva lot better against the Packers than any previously. Dak was back to nearly his accuracy of last year, and their O Line was a lot better than their earlier games too. And of course, Irving was back on D. All that and the Packers still dominated them.

Irving? I did see that Hitchens was back, but for a guy who watches every game, the absence of Sean Lee should have been glaring. It was to me, as the Packers feasted on his absence in the run game, both up the middle and sideline to sideline.

It was a similar call, but one definitely had intent and the other did not. The Cowboys defender tried to spear Rodgers with his helmet. Martinez was trying to knock a ball out with his hand.

Now, the rulebook probably says the egregious hit has to occur to be a penalty, but that intent was pretty obvious with his head down going for Rodgers.

pbmax
10-09-2017, 11:05 AM
Martinez was also trying to avoid a direct hit by that point. Its why his arm hit him and not his head and torso.
