Carson Palmer to Undergo Surgery on Broken Arm, Miss 8 Weeks

" Arizona Cardinals quarterback Carson Palmer left the team's game against the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday because of a broken left arm.

Head coach Bruce Arians confirmed the injury to reporters after Arizona's loss, adding the quarterback would undergo surgery and miss eight weeks.

Palmer exited in the first half, leaving Drew Stanton in charge under center."

It's not his throwing arm. Put a club on it and get him in there.

Who will get comeback bone* of 2018? Rodger's clavicle or Palmers' 'arm-bone' ?

Rodgers is younger, so he should get his bone working properly sooner than Palmer.

" One day after perennial All-Pro Joe Thomas was lost for the season, the NFL's other prospective all-decade left tackle saw his season end.

Jason Peters sustained an ACL and MCL tear during the Eagles' over the Redskins on Monday Night Football, NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported Tuesday. Philadelphia coach Doug Pederson later confirmed Peters will miss the rest of the season.

Peters' teammates swarmed the cart and gave him an emotional sendoff, a nod to the severity of the knee injury and the respect with which the nine-time Pro Bowler is held in Philadelphia. "

Besides the Eagles LBer Jordan Hicks and LT Jason Peters:

Here are other injuries we're tracking Tuesday:

" 1. Indianapolis Colts rookie safety Malik Hooker, who tore his ACL and MCL versus the Jacksonville Jaguars this past weekend, was placed on injured reserve.

2. Pittsburgh Steelers coach Mike Tomlin told reporters Tuesday that rookie wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster is in the concussion protocol. Smith-Schuster has three touchdowns this season.

3. The Dallas Cowboys are signing veteran kicker Mike Nugent, a source tells NFL Network's Mike Garafolo. Nugent will replace Dan Bailey, who's week-to-week with a groin injury. ..."
