Joe Thomas, who had never missed so much as a single NFL snap in his career, tore his triceps, and is expected to miss the remainder of the season.

He must think he's a Green Bay Packer or something.

Being from WI is enough. Just ask JJ Watt (or Tony Romo in years back).

Guy is tough. Gotta respect him for all he's done and gone through. Never heard a whimper out of him....

The biggest trial has got to be playing for the Browns.

He should, and I think he will. Think just how good he had to be, as an offensive lineman, on THAT team, to even raise that as a consideration.

That was my not so well stated point.

There's a lot of people who go to shit jobs day after day after day until they drop over stone dead just to pick up a check and make their families' lives better. I don't feel sorry for Joe Thomas for one micro-second.

Yup. He certainly could have left as a FA if he really couldn't stand it there. He chose to stay, for whatever reason, so it couldn't have been that bad for him. He probably could have gone to any but a few teams if he really had wanted to.

like Patler said, he should have left when he had the chance. Maybe he could have borrowed a FlyingJ truck to get the hell out of town. Man alive, what an organization.

Is anyone else kind of weary of watching really good players get lost for the season? The game loses something when teams can't field their top end talent, IMO.
