What is the status of the Rams' stadium. I think a team can refuse to give up a game, unless they don't have a proper stadium. Most teams don't want to give up a Packers game because Packers fans travel so well. The Raiders will be in Vegas next year, but their stadium will not be done, so that is a potential target for moving to London.

London football is stupid. Yes NFL, we get it. You're losing support here at home (both in participation and viewership) and you are looking for new revenue sources. But these games are dumb.

i think they are losing support at home because of things like the london games

its over saturation

ratings have been slipping for 2 or 3 years, before trump turned the kneeling into an anti america issue

its part of a much bigger picture, TV viewership is down bigtime all across the board. nfl is actually losing viewers and a slower rate then everything else

get rid of the early sunday games that no one wants, get rid of the thursday shit, stop letting teams move all over the place and shit on the fans that have spent a ton of money on them over the years and already filled their stadiums. and let defenses play again

also the whole CTE thing with parents not letting their kids play anymore is also going to have an impact.

and then finally, yes, the kneeling issue is turning people off because trump has told them that the move is anti american

add all those up, and you have a problem, but still not as big as a problem as everything else on TV

It isn't the "bitch millionaires" that want to move games to London or have Thursday night games. That is the owners front and center.

If the Packers ever play, I'll make an attempt to get up early enough to watch, otherwise I'll just sleep. It doesn't sound like I'd be missing much.
