We are inching ever closer to the middle of mediocrity. Bummer. Give it another week and we'll be even farther down this list. I wonder if this is what it feels like to be a Browns fan. Knowing the season is over before it's over.

No. 0-8 is what it feels like to be a Browns fan. Browns fans know the season's over before it starts.

Its opening day for baseball folks and that means one thing:

The Cleveland Indians have been mathematically eliminated from playoff contention.

Trust me, it can be SO much worse.

Or don't trust me, ask KYP, Joe, Fritz, Rand, Shadow, tpb, Maxie, Pugger or Patler.

Honestly, since 1992, the Packers have been on such an epic run, it really is astonishing. They had flashes in '72, '82, and '89, otherwise it was dreck for 25 years.

But the current Brownies are on a run as bad as the Tampa Bay Bucs opening as an expansion franchise. The difference is that there is no end in sight to the Browns utter futility.
