as soon as you see a Lions player run across the middle, you just know it's going for 10+ yards against us every single time.

They've either concluded that Lowry is more effective as an edge rusher, or Matthews is more effective in pass coverage...because Matthews is lining up basically as a 4-3 OLB.

I have seen him inside a lot, not outside with a DE.

I think dink and dunk on first drive was the get Hundley some confidence. And it largely worked. But then things went bad transitioning to different plays.

he's a 3rd year pro making his second start, and third game where he player almost the whole game

there should be absolutely no need for kid gloves, unless your play caller is ultra conservative

It's where they always are. Capers even said it in a press conference either this past week or the week before...."our corners will typically play 3-12 yards off and our safeties usually 12-20 yards depending on play and design."

pbmax

You pressure and play a deep shell and the middle of the field is always open.

When I first started typing I thought it was 3rd down. had to change it even though it made the point moot.

Earlier they did same thing on 3rd and long and they threw right over the corner for an easy catch and first. Safety had no chance to prevent the first.

You can't play that way with QBs completing 70% of their throws.

mraynrand
11-06-2017, 09:35 PM
looks at it this way - the Capers defense is designed to give up three TDs. You add in a pussified no-risk offense and you have this game. You want to blame Capers, but he's been serving up the same gruel for years. Stubby and the Packers have played to win with offense the whole way. Occasionally, they've had a stretch with some players able to do more defensively, but the MO is to slow the opposing offenses and win with Rodgers.

All this talk about MM having no balls, but the problem is that Hundley isn't all that great the receivers are mediocre and the o-line is crap. Rodgers 6th sense and scrambling made up for those flaws. Add in a defense that sucks, and we will be seeing a shitfest every week.

I would like to know. Did anybody here REALLY think we would beat Brees or Stafford after Rodgers went down?

I didn't. We stand a chance against the Bears, maybe a chance against the Ravens. No chance against the Steelers. A chance against the Bucs. We might even be favored against the Browns. We'll lose our last three games if Rodgers can't play.

Looking at possibly 6 to 8 wins, probably closer to 6. That's reality. It's the same reality the Saints would have if Brees went down, and the same reality for the Lions if Stafford went down. The Vikings have a good defense and have never had a QB so they can win without one.

I'm watching a Replay of this game right now.Looking for something that might be deemed a positive:

Ten Packers made at least one catch. Did spreding the ball around to his receivers reap benefits?

Randall Cobb had 5 receptions for 58 yards and a long of 46 Yards; the GLORY Moment for Brett Hundley... Ohh let's go with the TD he pushed in late or with 9:52 remaining in the 4th Qtr..

That means that Randall Cobb had 4 Receptions for 12 Yards. What?

Davante Adams led all receivers and made 7 receptions (53 Yards) with a long of 9 yards. What?

Jordy Nelson had 4 Receptions for a total of 35 Yards and a long of 12 Yards. What?

Hey Packer Head Coach Mike McCarthy what in hell is on your play sheet that is so much in your face? Didn't you think at some point in this game that you certainly had to open it up!? Where did your Offensive Genius go to last night?
