SUPER BOWL XXXI ALUMNI INTRODUCTIONS FEATURED IN SUNDAY'S PREGAME FESTIVITIES; FANS ENCOURAGED TO BE IN SEATS EARLY; OTHER FAN NOTES FOR WEEKEND INCLUDE ANNUAL 'COATS FOR KIDS' CAMPAIGN

Fans attending Sunday's game against the Chicago Bears are encouraged to be in their seats early to view a special pregame ceremony honoring members of the Super Bowl XXXI championship team.

Nearly 40 members of the 1996 team will be introduced at 2:50 p.m. and brought to the 50-yard line for recognition from the fans. The pregame ceremony then will conclude with attention directed to Lambeau Field's east side façade where the name of the late Reggie White, who was enshrined in the Pro Football Hall of Fame Aug. 5, will be unveiled and join the other 20 former Packers who have received professional football's ultimate honor. Sara and Jeremy White, Reggie's wife and son, respectively, will be on the field for the unveiling.

Other fans notes/reminders for the weekend: The annual 'Coats for Kids' collection will take place Sunday at Lambeau Field. Fans attending the game will have the opportunity to donate new and gently used coats for distribution to needy children through area Salvation Army units. Several drop-off points will be located in the stadium parking lots. Cash donations will be accepted as well.

The Salvation Army, along with FOX 11, Cumulus Broadcasting and several area cleaners - Lindeman's Cleaning, Royal Cleaners and Martinizing Dry Cleaning Service - are again leading the seasonal effort to collect coats. Coats can be dropped off at the participating cleaners, in addition to being brought to Sunday's game.

Fans also are reminded that stadium seats with backrests are permitted, but they cannot be wider than 18 inches and cannot have more than a simple backrest. Any seats not conforming to this standard will not be allowed in the stadium. This policy is a courtesy to everyone in the seating bowl.

Tailgating fans are reminded to properly dispose of hot coals in the marked containers located throughout the Lambeau Field parking lot.

The Packers Ultimate Playhouse makes its debut in the Lambeau Field Atrium Sunday. The Green Bay Packers have partnered with Thirvent Financial for Lutherans, MasterFoods and Ashley Furniture to raffle off a 10'x10' playhouse which includes a couch, flat screen TV, Packers recliner and Packers memorabilia. Raffle tickets, priced at $1, will be available all season long at the house in the Atrium on game days and in the Packers Pro Shop on non-game days. A winner will be selected Feb. 16, 2007. Proceeds from the raffle will benefit Habitat for Humanity projects in northeastern Wisconsin.

Materials for the project were provided by Faber Building Center of Oakfield, Wis., and the house was designed by Playhouses by Sean Mason and built by Towne Construction of Fond du Lac, Wis.

In addition to being on the field for Sunday's pregame ceremony, Sara and Jeremy White will be on hand in the Lambeau Field Atrium Saturday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and on Sunday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. (ticketed fans only) to sell two items celebrating the life of Reggie White. A DVD recently was released and a book authored by Jeremy, In His Shadow, Growing Up with Reggie White, recently was published. Sara and Jeremy will be available to sign both items. A Pro Football Hall of Fame commemorative hat with Reggie's image also will be available for purchase.
