Looking lost

pbmax
12-10-2017, 02:32 PM
Why are the safeties 15 yards deep on third and short? I'd tether they get beat deep at this point.

I agree.

beveaux1
12-10-2017, 02:32 PM
Good stop.

Harlan Huckleby
12-10-2017, 02:33 PM
You'd think Browns would go after secondary

Careful now, this is Pick Six territory.

Fosco33
12-10-2017, 02:34 PM
Guess this is one of last shots at the season

Bossman641
12-10-2017, 02:34 PM
I swear we've had more drives start from inside the 10 then any other year i can remember

pbmax
12-10-2017, 02:34 PM
Davis WTF?

ThunderDan
12-10-2017, 02:34 PM

beveaux1

STOP LETTING IT GO

I don't think he could get to it. It was only 35 yds in the air and nearly to the sideline.

pbmax
12-10-2017, 02:36 PM
GERONIMO!!

Bossman641
12-10-2017, 02:36 PM
95 yard drive at 4 yards per play..

how close is that stadium to the lake, is it like soldiers field?

pbmax
12-10-2017, 02:37 PM
Nice!! Take what they are stupidly giving you with more than 8 minutes left

pbmax
12-10-2017, 02:38 PM

Yes

Maxie the Taxi
12-10-2017, 02:38 PM
Browns have gone to the Capers' defense.

ThunderDan
12-10-2017, 02:38 PM
how close is that stadium to the lake, is it like soldiers field?

Yes, I believe so.

pbmax
12-10-2017, 02:38 PM
Just no snap to Jordy's legs.

pbmax
12-10-2017, 02:39 PM
He was open.

Rutnstrut
12-10-2017, 02:40 PM

12-10-2017, 02:40 PM
Just no snap to Jordy's legs.

yeah, he's close to done

red
12-10-2017, 02:41 PM
why in the hell are some penalties automatic first downs?

i never understood the reasoning behind those

why wouldn't it just be 3rd and 5?

ThunderDan
12-10-2017, 02:41 PM
Come on O. Keep it going.

Rutnstrut
12-10-2017, 02:42 PM
Yup pass every fucking down stubby you predictable POS.

Teamcheez1
12-10-2017, 02:42 PM
MM trusts his defense?

Well, you certainly can't trust the offense.

Fosco33
12-10-2017, 02:42 PM
This is why I'm on the coach.

red
12-10-2017, 02:43 PM

SMBASS

Couldn't give the ball up in our territory. Too close to FG range. Punt was the right call.

Fosco33
12-10-2017, 02:45 PM
Yes, I believe so.
It's right on lakeshore

pbmax
12-10-2017, 02:45 PM
I am really on the fence about that punt. Putting it in the end zone doesn't help much.

But running game has been hit or miss. Need to pass for first and that means scheming someone open fast. Browns will bring the house.

Cheesehead Craig
12-10-2017, 02:45 PM
Bwak Bwak Bwak MM! Chicken.

Tony Oday
12-10-2017, 02:45 PM
Season is over. Losing to the Browns...wow.

yetisnowman
12-10-2017, 02:46 PM
Nice we netted 35 yds punting down 7 on 4th and 2 with 5 minutes left. If we lose this game its on McCarthy.

gbgary
12-10-2017, 02:46 PM
the defense is broken and he punts.

Teamcheez1
12-10-2017, 02:46 PM
Browns surprise us with the run.

MadScientist
12-10-2017, 02:46 PM
So will the Packers even get the ball back?

Fosco33
12-10-2017, 02:46 PM
So it's their RB and QBs best games of the year. Just saying

just think of all the bodies floating around on mondays

pbmax
12-10-2017, 02:47 PM
On the plus side it wasn't cover 2

Teamcheez1
12-10-2017, 02:48 PM
If the Packers lose it will all be about the injuries. The coaches get a pass.

Harlan Huckleby
12-10-2017, 02:48 PM
If I'm the Browns I pass. Gotta go against the weakness of the D.

Maxie the Taxi
12-10-2017, 02:48 PM
Perfect time for a Cleveland screen pass on third down.

Bossman641
12-10-2017, 02:48 PM

Ya that's pretty damning

red
12-10-2017, 02:48 PM

offense is just as broken

i'd say that the odds of the defense scoring are probably pretty close to the offense scoring right now

12-10-2017, 02:49 PM
If I'm the Browns I pass. Gotta go against the weakness of the D.

But he's failing less today than stubby...

Teamcheez1
12-10-2017, 02:51 PM

Hundley will be a back-up for the Packers next year, then be out of the NFL.

mm won't do it.

Fosco33
12-10-2017, 02:55 PM
2pt vs pat. Jesh. Normally I'd say 2 on the road but I'd kick

Cheesehead Craig
12-10-2017, 02:55 PM
That should have been a tripping call on the punter.

Harlan Huckleby
12-10-2017, 02:56 PM
Alexa, will Fat Mike go for 2?

beveaux1
12-10-2017, 02:56 PM
Guys, we gotta score first.

red
12-10-2017, 02:56 PM

we gotta get a TD first

stubby might go ahead and kick the FG here, then hope the D holds again, so we get the ball back

ThunderDan
12-10-2017, 02:56 PM
who goes for 2 points?

We are 2-0 in OT and the Browns are choking in the 4th quarter again. Take it to OT.

Guiness

Rutnstrut
12-10-2017, 02:58 PM
Holy shit they used a lot of time for that shitty play.

Maxie the Taxi

Hundley may be our long-term backup. Not good enough to start just good enough to win against the bad teams.

Jordan was old at that point. Gordon is still pretty young and good enough to attract extra attention. The point is, he makes the offense better if even only as a decoy until opponents figure out where he's at.

I think we were both referring to the second retirement. Hence 36 and my reference to "old" (pro sports old)

After the first one he was still pretty good.

from wikipedia:

Although he had not played an NBA game in a year and a half, Jordan played well upon his return, making a game-winning jump shot against Atlanta in his fourth game back. He then scored 55 points in the next game against the Knicks at Madison Square Garden on March 28, 1995.[29] Boosted by Jordan's comeback, the Bulls went 13–4 to make the playoffs and advanced to the Eastern Conference Semifinals against the Orlando Magic. At the end of Game 1, Orlando's Nick Anderson stripped Jordan from behind, leading to the game-winning basket for the Magic; he would later comment that Jordan "didn't look like the old Michael Jordan"[73] and that "No. 45 doesn't explode like No. 23 used to."

I'm developing a fartlek-type workout where my intensity levels vary according to drives and situations. Early in the half when there are less commercials and the drama is fairly low I can usually get a good 30 minute build into whatever is next. After that I will start to crank up the pace when the situations get more urgent/stressful or turn it down to a fast walk during commercial breaks, building toward basically alternating near sprints with walks.

I'm going to call it the Cardiac Pack workout :).

Ordinarily I would say you should do the high intensity in the first half before fatigue sets in. But I suppose with the Fartlek we don't have to worry about you running out of gas in the second half, do we.

Well the draft pretty high every year. They do get some guys who are thought to be pretty damn good. But they've made some astonishingly bad moves. Every year is a reset. Draft a QB. Draft a 'playmaker' Both are hopelessly crushed under the weight of expectations and an organization that is always shifting on it's axis.

Hue was kept on because the owner apparently personally guaranteed three years when he hired him. He may not have been able to hire anyone of any NFL level talent without that guarantee because of their recent horrible front office history.
