I just saw outside my ghetto window what looks like a very big red fox

except..... no foxes in cities. And this thing was size of medium size dog.

It had to be an urban coyote. But shit, it was also sleek like a fox.

Anybody ever seen a fox in a city (with some woods in it)? Never heard of it.

edit: the bottom pick is a coyote.

Sure. They are super adaptable and as long as a larger predator doesn't push them out they will survive.

I don't know, in Alaska they got polar bears and moose in little league parks.

I saw a red fox in our neighborhood on the far Westside of Madison last week.

Probably a fox then. That was a gorgeous animal.

It had a sharp foxy face, not the slightly more doggy coyote. From pics you can see how similar they look. Guess foxes are bigger than I thought - must be good eatin in garbage cans.

I just saw a photo on Facebook this week of two Foxes in the City of Saint John, New Brunswick, Canada.

White Tail Deer now frequent the City and actually your more likely to spot a Deer out for a Walk in the Urban areas than in Rural NB.

The damn 'Clear Cutting' has Nature turning upside Down. The Man is rapeing the land. Natural Forests replaced by Spruce Softwood Plantations at a rapid rate out of pure greed and no common sense. It makes me sick to see this allowed to happen. Proper Leadership has gone for 'a Giant Shit' and little related to intelligence.

OK I found it and here's the Story:

Large fox family finds home on Saint John's Tin Can Beach

A mother and several kits live in beach burrows to the delight of onlookers
