We have failed this season. Whether it be wearing the wrong shirt on gameday, messing up the gameday thread, or failing to drink from your lucky cup at the right moment.

I fully admit I did not get on the treadmill during the last game and likely screwed up the entire fairytale ending on what would have otherwise surely been a magical season following the age-old stories of death and rebirth. I apologize and would not fault you for blaming me for the last game.

We are why the Packers are not in the playoffs. We have failed.

Let us on this day hope to observe a Festivus Miracle, one last little ray of joy in this otherwise bleak and broken irrelevant season.

A miracle does not have to be a win, just something that augurs well for next season or at least portends the Vikings ultimate self-destruction in this year's postseason.
