Reports coming out that Gruden is getting a 10 year $100 million contract to coach the Raiders.

That is one mother of a contract. These contracts are generally guaranteed, seems like an awful big gamble to take that a guy who hasn't done it in a decade (I'm looking at you, Gibbs) still has what it takes. NFL teams make a lot of money, but can they throw around $70 million away if it doesn't work out and they want to get rid of him in 3 years?

Raiders are moving to Vegas, so it figures they'd put $100M on a roll of the dice. Maybe they are hoping to trade him to Tampa again.

But where does that information come from? They are 'staff' so it's not like the players where the contracts are filed with the NFLPA. I think those numbers are little better than educated guesses, in particular Belichick. No one knows what he makes, and him and Kraft sure as hell aren't telling anyone!
