I think WR is the toughest position to fill in the first 3 rds if our needs are Edge, CB, and WR.

I've got about five solid choices for us possibly being available at CB and WR in Rd. 2 Pick NO. 45.

I've got about six solid choices for us and again possibly being available at CB and WR in Rd. 3 and Pick NO. 76.

The game sucked, but that was a good time. There were actually two of those shindigs. I think that may have been the second year. I think the first one was the Atlanta game the first year Rodgers started. I remember the Oval Office and grabbing a few delicious brats from street vendors at 2am. GBM was a trooper for hosting some of us. Staying up all night with superfan and JustinHarrell playing guitar hero or something. I think Partial passed out. I also remember trying to teach Partial how to throw a football.

The first one was when Favre was in his last year in Green Bay, 2007. The second one I didn't attend which would have been when Rodgers was the starter. No JustinHarrell at the one I attended.

I don't think he's a reach... I voted for Landry in the poll; but, full disclosure, I would prefer any one of Ward, Fitzpatrick, or James over Landry.

I don't want to be the guy that says, "Well they can trade back and get him." They have enough problems every where on their roster where they don't need to reach on need position.

The burning question today:

Will bobblehead break Deputy Nutz`s record for `** Packer Poll Procrastination ** `? ** alliteration. not to be confused with duplication.

It's now just past 20 Hours (04-15-2018, 12:51 PM ) since the NO. 24 Pick was made by wthigoot.

Hi Deputy:

Your point is strong. Given the results as we came to our POLL: Who would you (or did you) select?

I'm guessing EDGE Marcus Davenport; who a prominent NFL.Com Draft Analyst has Ranked as #10 in his Top Fifty and your pick for the Detroit Lions at NO. 20.

The problem as I see it and some of you 'white folk' south of the 49th Parallel. Is you don't have that opportunity us Canuck's have to enjoy superior comedy and excellence in satire. Now, I'm first and foremost concerned and as a Teacher. Just to test yourself out mraynrand and to see how hard you laugh and this video from 'This Hour Has 22 Minutes':

I did select Davenport but I think he is a reach at 14 as well. There is a big gap between the #1 pass rushing tier and the 2nd tier.

A lot depends upon which Pro Analyst (s) you respect.

If you don't Poo Poo A Computer's analysis spit out. EDGE Marcus Davenport is the 14th BEST Overall Prospect in this Draft Class.

RANK 10 ...Marcus Davenport, DE, UTSA

" Davenport is a raw edge rusher with outstanding size, length and explosiveness. He aligned in a two-point stance for UTSA but could easily play with his hand in the ground as a 4-3 defensive end at the next level. As a pass rusher, he has a very quick first step and flashes the power to bull through tight ends and offensive tackles. He doesn't always have a game plan and that will lead to him stalling out if he doesn't win early in the down. His ability to bend and wrap around the edge is very impressive for his size. He's a little segmented right now, but once he gets his feet and hands to work together, he will emerge as a double-digit sack artist. In the run game, he dominates tight ends at the point of attack. His effort and speed from the back side is outstanding. Overall, Davenport isn't a finished product, but I'm bullish on his future because of his rare size, athleticism and effort. " ... NFL.COM's Draft Analyst Daniel Jeremiah

mraynrand unlike you I'm way too cool.

So if it's time that has to be wasted where I come from it isn't. We'll simply start telling jokes to bide the time bye.

A Newfie is walking home kicking old bottles, when a genie pops out of one.

"I can grant you three wishes," says the genie, "so choose wisely."

The Newfie says "Give me a beer that'll never run out."

A bottle appears in the Newfie's hand and he downs it, but when we pulls it away from his mouth it's still full.

The happy Newfie continues walking home. The genie says "Hey, you still have two wishes left!"

"Oh," says the Newfie, "gimme two more of these then!"

This one will challenge you mraynrand: :-)

An Ontarian, an Albertan, and a Newfie are running from the cops.

They run into an alley and see a pile of sacks, which they decide to hide in.

The cops follow them into the alley and kick the bag with the Ontarian in it. The Ontarian goes "meow!" and the cops go "Ah, it's just a bag full of cats."

They kick the bag with the Albertan in it, and he goes "woof!" and they're like, "OK, dog in a bag, whatever."

Then they kick the bag with the Newfie in it, and he goes

"potato!"

You fellas from Madison, Wisconsin might relate to this joke !?

- A newfie named Clyde died in a fire and was burnt so badly that the morgue needed someone to identify the body. His two best friends, Clem and Zeke, came to do the job.

Clem went in first and the mortician pulled back the sheet. Clem said "Yup, he's burnt pretty bad. Roll him over." So the mortician rolled him over and Clem took one look and said, "Nope, ain't Clyde."

Just to be safe the mortician brought in Zeke and Zeke took a look at him and said "Yup, he's burnt real bad, roll him over." The mortician rolled him over and Zeke looked down and said "No, it ain't Clyde."

The mortician asked "How can you tell?

Zeke said "Well, Clyde had two assholes."

"What? He had two assholes?" said the mortician.

"Yup, everyone in town knew he had two assholes.

Every time we went to town, folks would say 'Here comes Clyde with them two assholes.' "

Somebody had talked about the possibility of doing Round 2. If we're gonna do that, we would need to conclude this relatively quickly.

When you do another of these install these rules:

A.) The time limit between picks is a maximum 6 Hours between the hours 8 AM and 12 Midnight..

B.) Set the Mock up so that anyone of a maximum 19 members participating has to take a consecutive odd and even numbered Draft Position Team.

C.) Make the RULE that there will be no trades up or down.

With such RULES in place our Mocks etc. and picks will run smoothly.

We'll resemble an intelligent community.

This joke applies:

A newfie rolls into his factory job at 10:30.

The floor manager comes up to him and said,

"You should have been here at nine o'clock,"

to which the newfie responds

"Why, what happened?"

One day a newfie goes to a carpenter and asks how much it would cost to build a wooden crate that is 1 inch tall, 1 inch wide, and 50 feet long.

A Mainlander is driving down the highway and runs over a rabbit. Wondering what the noise was; he stops his car and gets out to take a look.

While he's standing there, a newfie pulls up and asks him what's going on.

The mainlander says: "I'm just here visiting your fair province and I seem to have killed one of your animals."

The newfie takes a look at the rabbit and says, "No problem, bye. Hang'er down a few."

The newfie then goes to his truck and gets an aerosol spray-can, which he proceeds to empty onto the rabbit. When he's done he chucks the empty in the ditch and says, "There ya go, me son. Enjoy yer stay" then gets in his truck and takes off.

The rabbit gets up, hops 10 feet towards the woods, turns around and waves, hops another 10 feet, turns around and waves, hops another 10 feet, and finally disappears into the woods.

It's the darndest thing.

The Mainlander is blown away. Wondering what the newfie did?

He grabs the can out of the ditch and reads the label, which says:

"Hair spray..... guaranteed to bring dead hair back to life, with a permanent wave"

Two newfies are in a car enjoying a bottle of black horse, when a cop pulls them over.

The newfie in the passenger seat says "He's got us now bye, what're we gonna do?"

The driver says: They have nothing to worry about and tells him to follow his lead and say nothing.

The driver peals the label off the bottle of beer, licks the back of it, sticks it to his forehead, and puts the bottle under his seat--the passenger follows suit.

The police officer approaches the drivers window and asks for his licence and registration.

As the driver gives the officer his info the officer asks whether he or the passenger had been drinking at all that night, at which point the driver points to his forehead and responds,

"Oh no sir, we's on da patch ya see!".

A newfie's wife passed away and so immediately after a few private words, he called 911.

The 911 operator told him that they would send someone over right away and asked him where he lived.

"At the end of Eucalyptus Drive", the newfie told her.

The operator asked, "Could you please spell that for me?"

After a long pause, the newfie said, "How 'bout if I drag her over to Oak Street and you pick her up there?"

Bridge to North Sydney (that's on Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia)

A Newfie riding his Harley along the TCH just outside of Port aux Basque, Newfoundland, when suddenly the sky clouded above his head and, in a booming voice, the Lord said, 'Because you have tried to be faithful to me in all ways, I will grant you one wish.'

The Newfie pulled over and replied, 'Build a bridge to North Sydney so I can ride over anytime I want.'

The Lord said:

'Your request is materialistic. Think of the enormous challenges for that kind of undertaking: the supports required reaching the bottom of the ocean and the concrete and steel it would take! It will nearly exhaust several natural resources. I can do it, but it is hard for me to justify your desire for worldly things. Take a little more time and think of something that could possibly help mankind.'

The Newfie thought about it for a long time. Finally, he said:

'Lord, I wish that I and all men could understand women. I want to know how she feels inside, what she's thinking when she gives me the silent treatment, why she cries, what she means when she says nothing's wrong, and how I can make a woman truly happy.'

The Lord replied:

'You want two lanes, or four on that bridge?'

Talking Moose

A man's car stalled just outside of Gander one morning. When the man got out to fix it, a moose came along and stopped beside him.

"Your trouble is probably in the carburetor," said the moose.

Startled, the man jumped back and ran down the road until he met someone. The amazed man told the feller his story.

"Was it a large brown moose with a crooked left antler?" asked the feller.

"Yes, yes," the man replied.

"Oh! I wouldn't listen to Old Lefty," said the feller. "He doesn't know a thing about cars."

Archaeology

The NEWS !

After having dug to a depth of 10 feet last year, Toronto scientists found traces of copper wire dating back 100 years and came to the conclusion that their ancestors already had a telephone network more than 100 years ago.

Not to be outdone by the Ontarian's, in the weeks that followed:

A Vancouver archaeologist dug to a depth of 20 feet, and shortly after, a story published in the Vancouver Province: "BC archaeologists, finding traces of 130-year-old copper wire, have concluded that their ancestors already had an advanced high-tech communications network 30 years earlier than Ontario".

One week later:

The Newfoundland telegram in St Johns, NFLD , reported the following:

"After digging as deep as 30 feet in his backyard in St John's , Newfoundland , James Smith, a self-taught archaeologist, reported that he found absolutely nothing at all. James has therefore concluded that 150 years ago, Newfoundland had already gone wireless."

For Bobblehead, Tennessee Titans:

Possibilities Rashaan Evans, Alabama, ILB, Da'Ron Payne, Alabama, DT (GONE), Harold Landry, BC, EDGE/OLB (GONE), DJ Moore, WR Maryland, Courtland Sutton
Southern Methodist, WR.

Avery Williams left in free agency. Could use a pass rusher, interior D line help and someone to replace Decker at WR.

No first round grades left on D for need. Tough call to take another WR in first round after last year. But the new Head Coach might decide to help his franchise's best player.

With the 25th pick of the 2018 NFL Common Draft, the Tennessee Titans select, Cortland Sutton, WR, SMU

The offensively potent Falcons desperately need help along their defensive line after losing Poe to FA. The Falcons would've LOVED to have Da'Ron Payne fall to them at 26. However, with him now gone, they will take who they believe is the next best option, Maurice Hurst from scUM.

Hi this is Mae, Good Morning. :pack:

Nice Pick SudsMcBucky. I'm looking at Woody's Draft Board and it appears you nailed it.

Now I just checked Packerrats and saw Woody's Pick is on the clock. I took this photo of him after waking him up.

https://static1.squarespace.com/static/511eea22e4b06642027a9a99/t/525cc90be4b0b7b97f0e03b6/1381812491943/SleepyHollowS01E05_2.jpg

I know who he has in mind as a Pick for the New Orleans Saints; and he'll make it after cleaning up and having some breakfast.

Have a lovely day Packer Fans

Love, Mae

Yes Nice Pick SudsMcBucky"

I gave DT- 3T Maurice Hurst, Michigan and all he was in their Program serious consideration for the Saints. I'm sure you considered his Heart condition at the Combine as a factor in possibly NOT picking him. He got a full medical clearance and looked great in a 'put him to the MAX test' Pro Day. He's a player I'll be watching.

I also looked at TE (a serious consideration) for the Saints, and they need a NO. 3 WR and don't pick again until Round 3 at NO. 91 Overall.

At TE you have Hayden Hurst, South Carolina Vs all everything athleticism but blocking challenged 'Jimmy Graham' Clone Mike Gesicki, Penn State (with outstanding measurables and 'I believe' the best Vertical Jump at the Combine). I just don't see the value in picking a blocking challenged TE at NO. 27 in Round 1. Mike Gesicki was a serious consideration.

I looked at Interior OL and Braden Smith Auburn, and Billy Price Ohio State but feel their both Round 2 Picks.

So it got down to their success last year and picking a solid CB at the NO. 11 selection and 'a bookend CB pick' for Marshone Lattimore.

A tough decision looking at the next highest ranked CB on the Board or Joshua Jackson, IOWA Vs Mike Hughes, UCF and Isaiah Oliver, Colorado and Jaire Alexander, Louisville.

Joshua Jackson had an outstanding 2017 College Season. I asked myself why did Joshua Jackson not perform, as well as might be expected at the Combine; yet recover so well in his Pro Day?

His Pro Day (March 26, 2018):

Josh Jackson - Iowa Pro Day Results:
6003 Height, 188 lbs and 4.52 40 Yard dash
3.95 shuttle; 40.0” vertical; 10’2” broad jump

The value and Overall Draft Board (s) is certainly there at Pick NO. 27 to New Orleans.

NFL.Com's Daniel Jeremiah has Joshua Jackson on his TOP 50 at NO. 18, with CB Jaire Alexander at NO. 23. Mike Mayock Has Joshua Jackson as his NO. 2 Ranked CB Prospect. DRAFTTEK has Joshua Jackson Ranked @ NO. 20 Overall.

At PIck NO. 27 Overall, The New Orleans Saints Pick CB Joshua Jackson, IOWA

FAIL !

Your like the guy on the team that misses the Team Meetings and Practises.

Suspended and excuses are BS ! That can lead to a dismissal.

Just apologize and learn to leave it right there. It's called growing up; acting with some maturity and real smarts.

If your going to challenge ensure you really have what it takes to challenge with. Some integrity.

Good pick for the Saints. I'm not too fond of Jackson's sloth-like speed, but he reminds me of Al Harris somewhat.

What's the difference between The top speed measured in this Years Combine of 4.32 seconds and Josh Jackson's measured 40 Yard dash of 4.52?

4.32 is 9.26 Yards per second Vs 4.52 or 8.85 Yards per Second.

A difference of 0.41 yards/second or 14 3/4 Inches.

Now you look at foot speed in the 3 Cone Shuttle. You look at instincts on the field and challenging routes. You look at the Man's height and vertical and Josh Jackson's Vertical is a seriously impressive 40 inches. His leg Power is solid measuring 10' 2" in the Broad Jump. Josh Jackson put up 18 repetitions of 225 pounds in the bench press. All this is just fine.

Joshua Jackson was graded at 6.00 by NFL.COM Jackson became a national name in 2017 as a Defensive Back by finishing as the nation's leader with eight interceptions.

https://www.nfl.com/prospects/josh-jackson?id=32462018-0002-5600-3068-0cebf6c8b276

What it really came down to is the fit. Playing on the other side from Saints NO. 23 Marshon Lattimore. A sweet backend 'D' for the Saints for hopefully the next 4 Seasons (maybe 6-8 Seasons).

It was all there when I examined it closely. If the Packers picked him I wouldn't be too surprised but they'll go bigger and likely address their pathetic Pass Rush. It come down to deciding just where their more pathetic. It's shocking to me just how weak the Roster has become.

Steelers, like most years, have some needs. They are battling with Antonio Brown and LeVeon Bell over contracts. Shazier is out. Big Ben is talking about retirement like he was draft in 1991 by the Atlanta Falcons in the 2nd round.

The vaunted Steeler D fell apart again despite having thrown Dick LeBeau overboard and committing to Keith (Kevin?) Butler and committing to not playing zone every snap.

Unless you are one of the few who expect 6 QBs to go in the first round, the Steelers are aren't likely to select Ben's successor in the first round. Though if they did, it would be Mason Rudolph, OKSt at this point. Unlike many other positions, the Steelers retain their ability to find WRs (see Upper Class Twit of the Year J.J. Smith-Schuster). RB might be a possibility, but Bell is still there, so not the first round. Despite signing Morgan Burnett, reports say Steelers might not be done at safety as they let last season's starter go an young guy Davis was up and down in Year 2.

Derrius Guice, RB, LSU is available but I don't think they do it. They got Ridley to help out.

So they need a safety, ILB and possibly an OLB/EDGE, though doubling up after TJ Watt seems unfair. Quin Blanding, S, Virginia, Christian Sam, LB, Arizona State, Jeff Holland, OLB, Auburn, and Ogbonnia Okoronkwo, OLB, Oklahoma.

But their guy here sounds like a clone of Shazier.

Evans is a versatile, playmaking linebacker. He moved all over the field in the Alabama defense. He aligned off the ball in the middle of the defense, stood up outside and even occasionally put his hand in the ground as a defensive end in pass-rush situations. Against the run, he's a tick late to key/read, but once he makes up his mind, he closes in a hurry. He runs right through blockers and if he doesn't make the tackle, he creates a pileup to slow down the ball carrier. He has outstanding speed to range sideline to sideline. He will miss an occasional tackle in space because he rarely breaks down, instead looking for the big hit. In coverage, he can easily mirror tight ends and backs. He will even match up in the slot at times. He isn't a polished pass rusher, but he can win with pure speed and effort. Overall, Evans is a tone-setter on defense and his versatility is a huge asset.

With the 28th pick of the 2018 NFL Common Draft, the Pittsburgh Steelers select Rashaan Evans, LB, Alabama.

I'm actually 'all in' and doing three Rounds and Packer Pick Polls, plus a poll on the 101st Overall Selection for the Packers to the Top of Round 4.

If we set a MAX 4 Hours between Picks for the Hours 8 AM to 12 Midnight; and otherwise the Packerrat that is selecting next make two Picks on any time violation, we can make this work.

If anyone opts out another Packerrat gives it his/her best shot or one of us picks up another Pick.

Are we Having a POLL for the Packers Pick at NO. 45 ?

That's good pbmax and as we may simply ROLL with it.

I want to see this go all the way to Pick 101 Overall. We can do that.

Evans might look good as Packer next to Martinez.

I love ILB Rashaan Evans but the Packers need to nail that NO. 14 Pick and there's a load of stress on them to do so. I can also see them trading down.

I don't want to see them trade too far down in Round One.

All day if I'm quietly leaking an interest in QB Lamar Jackson. That prospect is 'a Beast of an athlete'. I see Teams easily wanting to be a trading Partner with Green Bay.

Teams drafting below NO. 14 that have at least some need and QB.

The right fit for QB Lamar Jackson is with Arizona or Baltimore or Buffalo) He's be off the Board by Pick NO. 22.

Pick NO. 15 Arizona.(straight up...YES)

Pick NO. 16 Baltimore. (Big Time)

Pick NO. 17 LA Chargers. ( Philip Rivers admits it’s ‘inevitable’ L.A. drafts a QB )

Pick NO. 21 Cincinnati

Pick NO. 22 Buffalo (Big Time)

Pick NO. 23 New England (Yup and his athleticism but he wants to advertise as a QB)

Pick NO. 27 New Orleans (Drew Brees Age)

Pick NO. 29 Jacksonville (some need, but they''ll see how Robby Blake Bortles looks in 2018 without a lot of concern)

With the 28th pick of the 2018 NFL Common Draft, the Pittsburgh Steelers select Rashaan Evans, LB, Alabama.

For Justin:

Mocks: McGlinchey, Oliver, Hernandez, Isaiah Wynn, Kolton Miller, Connor Williams

Needs: Offensive Line, Offensive Line, Offensive Line, 3rd CB, pass catcher, clavicle breaker

Everyone thinks the Patriots are going to chase a QB, possibly early. But if the Pats take an OL and our mock is right that some other team takes an OT (Williams) and a Guard (Hernandez), there will panic amongst the lone remaining member of the Triangle of Authority from the land of bird killing windows.

They just spend $84 mil guaranteed on a new QB, they want to keep him upright and except for QB, nothing replaces getting your starting O lineman in the first round. They will select the last O lineman with a first round grade on him. Zimmer isn't going to be elated by the effort, but he will like the film better than the combine results.

With the 30th pick in the NFL Common Draft for 2018, the Minnesota Vikings select Orlando Brown, OT Oklahoma.

HOODY GENIUS WAKES UP FROM A RUM N COKE HANGOVER WITH A PHONE CALL FROM PB MAX THAT'S HE"S ON THE CLOCK. He immediately blurt out F'ck PIttsburg.

Jay Glazer, a close friend of Hoody's tweets out when Hoody made his 21st pick he was choosing between 4 players and two of them has fallen and they are at the same dam position. One is a phenomenal speed demon with a ton of upside and great special teams ability who is probably ready to start right now but there are character concerns. Hoody Genius Jr campaigns form a WR at the pick, but Hoody cusses him and and notes we made Danny Amendola look good; we don't need to draft a dam WR that high. McDaniels then campaigns for the return phenom to take some pressure off the offense, but Hoody Genius has his own plan. He watches Mel Kiper flash his big board and note who the pick has to be. But Hoody Genius throws up the bird at Mel the blowhard Kiper and drafts his own guy.

Hoody announces to his staff....this guy is going to be the best player at his position five years from now, and he's going to start day one. His father, Muhammad, played cornerback at Oregon, was an NCAA All-American in track and field, a world-class decathlete, and played five seasons in the NFL. His uncle, Damon Mays, also played college ball (receiver at Missouri) and in the NFL. Scouts are high on his pro promise due to his size and tenacious nature. He also received the athleticism genes, starring in high school football (27 yards per reception, 12 touchdowns, seven interceptions, nine blocked punts as a senior) and track (state champ in 110 and 300-meter hurdles, 4x400 relay) in Arizona. Oliver made a splash as a true freshman, playing in all 13 games and starting three (19 tackles, six pass breakups).

As receivers get bigger, faster, and stronger every single year, so too must cornerbacks evolve with them. Enter Colorado’s Isaiah Oliver, one of the most uniquely gifted DB prospects to come through the college ranks in quite some time. Blessed with size, speed, and uncommon fluidity for a “big body” corner, Oliver also has one key advantage that sets him apart from everyone else at his position - arm length.

At a staggering 33 1⁄2 inches, Oliver’s arms are longer than all but just six cornerback prospects to be measured in the last two decades. That length shows up on film on nearly every single snap, and he routinely dominates receivers at the line of scrimmage before using his tree-trunk-like arms to break up passes.

On this week’s episode of “The Film Room,” we’ll take an in-depth dive into his impressive college tape and explain why these unique physical traits should translate to immediate success in the NFL. Enjoy the show!

Two players stand out for the Eagles, CB Jaire Alexander and TE Dallas Goedert. The Eagles could still use another CB. After losing Trey Burton and Brent Celek, the Eagles could use a TE to pair with Zach Ertz. Goedert has Gronk-like qualities and has the potential to be the best blocker among the top rated TEs. However, Alexander offers too much value at a position of need.

Philadelphia selects CB Jaire Alexander, Louisville.

THE NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS DRAFT ISAIAH OLIVER, CB FROM COLORADO

Ladies and Gentlemen of the Packers Jury I give you what I deem comprehensive analysis and exactly what I expect from the 'too stuffed bunch' on the Green Bay Packers Draft Team.

The Packers Draft Team receive decent $compensation$ for being properly prepared to make every single draft pick. Sure it's all pick and risk but if your taking the "Little Lady" out for a Special Occasion Dinner do you choose the Dining Room of the 5 Star Hotel or McDonalds?

It comes down to common sense and watching tape (and sure watching a Draft Prospect LIVE) and talking to the Guy and his attitude and checking any BS at the door. It comes down to reducing risk and measuring his athleticism and what has he done in his past to demonstrate or prove excellence.

I cannot tell you just how impressed I am with Bretsky's comprehensive analysis and this Pick at NO. 31 Overall for the New England Patriots.

An outstanding effort and support for my view that we have outstanding football minds here on Packerats that would smoke what been hired as a Green Bay Packer Draft Team.

Ahem

Two players stand out for the Eagles, CB Jaire Alexander and TE Dallas Goedert. The Eagles could still use another CB. After losing Trey Burton and Brent Celek, the Eagles could use a TE to pair with Zach Ertz. Goedert has Gronk-like qualities and has the potential to be the best blocker among the top rated TEs. However, Alexander offers too much value at a position of need.

Philadelphia selects CB Jaire Alexander, Louisville.

I can't believe you guys let this stud fall to the Super Bowl champs.

Ahem

And the Browns will be picking in the top 5 again at this time next season.

Mayfield is a poor man's Johnny Football.

I get it, Dorsey loves Mayfield, but why not also draft Allen at #4? It's a QB-plagued league. Let Mayfield and Allen duke it out for supremacy.

Ward, the OSU CB, looks like a fucking midget on films.

Boy, it's certainly a good thing I don't run a professional football franchise. My 1st round pick didn't actually go until the 5th!

My apologies for the fact that the poll I created for the Packers pick did not include the guy the Packers drafted.

I'll try to do better next year. Or I'll make pbmax do the poll.

Nothing makes the board more fun that 8 people yelling at you here, in email and Facebook to make a fucking pick already!

making it worse: a string of Canuck jokes that in comparison make Rick Moranis seem like Brian Regan.

If we were to try to get it all done as the Analysts change our minds over the course of the last 7-10 days before the Draft; a lot of us would see things differently.

It was getting to clear that EDGE Harold Landry was sliding downward. As it was clear that at WR the first man off the Board was more likely going to be D. J. Moore and not Calvin Ridley.

I was pushing for ILB Rashaan Evans to be in our Round One Mock Poll and he went in Round One at Pick NO. 22 to the Tennessee TITANS.

I felt that Safety Justin Reid should have been considered as a possible choice in our Round TWO Mock Poll and 'a better Pick' than Alabama Safety, Ronnie Harrison. Reid went in Round Three at Pick NO. 4 to Houston and he was considered 'a Steal' in that position by Post Draft Analysts from NFL.Com.

25 Picks later...Ronnie Harrison went in Round 3 - Pick NO. 29 to the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Our Round Two Mock Poll choice of CB Anthony Averett, Alabama slide all the way to Round 4 and Pick NO. 18 to the Baltimore RAVENS.

Who would (amongst all NFL Fans) have ever imagined that OLB/ILB Tremaine Edmunds would not go until Round One Pick NO. 16 to the Buffalo Bills? That Pick was incredible Value for the Bills and was again graded as 'a clear Steal'.

Add, Safety, Derwin James to the LA Chargers (and again seen as a Steal) for them by the NFL Draft Experts.

As the Great Muhammad Ali said ... "Life Is a mystery".
