It’s exciting to have another team to watch. Could you imagine a #1 overall pick, haha! Then we’d draft Rodgers replacement and go another 15 years with HOF QB play ;)

Is it wrong to hope brees dies and leaves fatherless children behind for a high draft pick?

Brees seems like a good guy, I don't wish him or NO ill unless GB has to play them. Even a late R1 is worth a lot IMO and normally where GB picks. Let's say NO ends up at #25 next year; you can package that with your own #32 to move up or use it to trade down with a team that wants to get back in later. It gives them a lot of options going forward. Of course, NO could totally tank and that benefits GB as well.

Gutey could still trade the pick for an early R2 this year, but I doubt it. I'd like to see them use those Day3 picks to get back into tomorrow. Lot of talent still on the board.

It seems like they waffle between great and poor every year, so my expectation is they will have a down year despite pretty legit talent. It stinks the corner they landed last year is so good, that will go a long way towards a legit defense.

I mean, technically all you're actually hoping for is the silver lining... The residual guilt would be the touch of grey.

That's my Grateful Dead reference for this season.

I don't get the uncool hatreds/death threats/death wishes fans aim at good, normal players, especially those whom, for whatever reason, choked in the clutch. It's just a fucking game. Yes, when your favorite team loses in a playoff game, and you live a wretched existence, you feel like emptying out your tiny bank account, marching to Vegas, and when the frogskin's gone, jump into a lake. But still, in the grand scale of things, it's just a meaningless game.

I can understand fans wanting Rae Carruth to rot in Hades, but what monstrous deed has Brees done? Believing that everyone should stand for the anthem doesn't justify damnation.

When I was 16 or so, and da Bulls had just won their 6th title, a local sports writer for the local paper wrote a column about Michael Jordan not being the GOAT. After reading it, I was pissed as hell. I sent said writer a fuck-filled letter condemning his opinion. That was the closest I ever came to sending someone a hate letter.

Saints to into next year as one of the best teams in the NFL

I would not have minded just taking their 2nd this year and drafting an edge rusher instead of getting a 1st in the 26-32 range next year.

I hope my thoughts serve as a wonderful whammy and the Saints suck wind next year

Lets vote for somebody to Tonya Hardenize Drew Brees

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm..............Red ? lol

(Mark)Ingram suspension won't change Kamara usage

Alvin Kamara and Mark Ingram are built differently, which is why Sean Payton isn't going to change Kamara's usage with Ingram suspended.

Well who suspected out Pick would be the higher one? I bet the Raiders are pissed.

When you think about it the Raiders traded 2 piece away to teams that made the playoffs. Hard to justify the return for range 25-32 picks for a Super Star. I think Oak May have gotten the better end of the deal on Cooper. But again it is late 1st round pick they are trading for.
