Could Red really do any worse if he auto drafts and just lets things go from there?

So where are we at on this? Is there a draft date? I will be up nort on a bear hunt during early Sept and will have spotty cell reception at best. I need to know a draft date to see if I have to hitch up the wagon and go into town that night;)

I've not been very optimistic that this will happen. Every year it's tougher to get enough people to make it happen. I'm still in, although I do have another draft on Tuesday Sept.4. If we have it that night, I'd have to do it on auto-pilot.

One night I can't draft is Tuesday night as I have my NY online auction that night so I'll be booked from about 6 PM til 1:00 AM in the morning

I can also give up my spot if we have odd numbers or anybody needs me too

We will do a 12 team Division if we stay at this number. Last reminder email went out this AM.

Draft date that usually works the best is Wednesday the night before the opening game. Bretsky is never available Tuesday because of his ultra-elite Chris Berman and Wall Street New York league drafts that night. If you aren't live that night, they mock your investments.

And everyone thinks drafting on Labor Day is sacrilege (or that they will get into trouble at home).

14 teams looks like our number this year. We can do one league, one division, take top four for championship. Common draft.

Divisions. With that many teams, is it possible to do 6 playoff teams, with division winners getting a bye? More meaningful games late in the season that way. Just a thought.

We are short of time (and short two teams) to do Divisions the way we normally do them, as separate Leagues (Wolf and Thompson) and then a manually tracked PackerRat bowl the last two weeks of the FF season. That is what has given us common players among different teams before.

This version of Divisions would be completely handled by Yahoo. 7 teams in each Division, but with inter-division play so no one has a bye week. Common draft for 14 teams, so this would not be an all-star kinda FF League. I am not sure what playoffs are available with 14 teams/2 Divisions but will look at the options.

I've got another online draft starting in a few minutes. 12 teams, 20 rounds. :shock: This will be the longest one I've ever done.

Draft is tomorrow, Wednesday the 5th at 9 PM central. With 14 teams, gonna take about an hour and a half I estimate.

Some reminders:

1. Superflex can be RB/WR/TE or QB.

2. Rank your players up until 45 minutes before your draft. If you have any doubts about your presence, look at the rankings and make some changes. Yahoo plants bad picks in there. We have 9 starters x 14 teams, that is 135 players you want to list. Many websites have cheatsheets that will get you to 100 at least.

3. The draft order will be randomly determined approximately 30 minutes before the draft begins.

4. We are using the Yahoo online draft app. Go to the League page and click Draft in the menu. It will let you test the app on your system.

It's been a rough couple of days here in Sheboygan. Took a power dump on Sunday morning which shagged the runway so bad it triggered serious butt pain by that afternoon. Two sleepless nights later I found myself plugged up with poop due to a shut down digestive tract and an inability to makee pee, and under normal circumstances I am very good at making pee pee. So I went to the Urgent Care doc who hands me ointment for hemorrhoids. Another sleepless evening filled with demented cartoons of misery and pain brought me to my regular doc who poked a rubber-gloved finger up there and said, naw that's a perianal abscess. You'd better see the surgeon. So the surgeon says What I'm going to do is to poke a needle in there to deliver anesthetic. That's gonna feel like a red hot nail baby. Then I will make an incision to open the abscess. You won't feel that at all. Then I will need to drain and search out where this abscess has gotten off to. Boy that hurts a lot, but when I clean out the cavity with my finger golly that one will sting! Finally Nurse Emily here will pack the cavity with gauze to drain for a few days. (And that's not going to hurt?) Oh Jeez Louise that hurts the most of all.

So I feel so much better thank you. Miracle of a proper diagnosis Nurse Emily's kind attention to my pale ass butt. So me and draining butt abscess are ready to draft. I am foregoing painkillers to keep my mental faculties at their peak. Like that will help.

I didn't get home til about midnight last night; thanks for rejecting my offer (it sucks when people just don't respond at all) and thanks for the counter. I think you pulled it back because I got an email for the offer but it's not there. I would not have been able to do that deal anyways. The complication and why I didn't offer right away...is I'm not really in love, so to speak, with any 3 of those. I'm not sure what you have with Eifert; he can be a stud if he doesn't get injured but the Bengals are terrified with his injury history so they are taking it easy on him. I kinda like Njoku's upside, but he's on the Brown's so scoring will be sporadic. Of the two offers I threw at you, I knew one was probably a bad one but one I struggled to make because I think the RB may be the guy for his team and may score quite a bit better than Njoku. But I don't want Howard for him. IMO Howard is going to have a few really games and a lot of bla. I think he's about the same as what I have.

I offered Matt Brieda; he's hardly a waiver wire RB. Most websites, including Yahoo, are projecting him to be SF's primary RB this week and for sure in the near future....especially in PPR...…. Yahoo has a trade evaluator; it thought you were getting the better of the deal but not by much. Unless you believe in old Albert Morris he's SF's best back going forward.

OK, so in my big Moolah New York League, last year I seeked out the desperate owner of Jamie Winston and went on to trade Ryan Fitzpatrick and OJ Howard......for Adrian Peterson and Amari Cooper. We needed AP as our 4th RB this week in the starting lineup so that was a plus.

Now our TE's are Jimmy Graham, Greg Olson, and the Cincy WR (we have to start 2 every week)

Our RB's are Kumara, Barkley, Lindsey, James White, Marlon Mack, Adrienne Peterson, and Jalen Howard (we have to start 4 RB's every week.

Shakier Smithsons are drinking 7&7s to celebrate a 7-7 debut season. No consolation bracket magic because of too few points for. Had great defense somehow as had least points against. :-)

Wish I could give my spot away...flipping losers bracket. I lost some close games but I was absolute crap this year. Reached too soon on Brady and then drafted two guys with 4 game suspsensions...stupid...…..I said when I drafted both I need to go 2-2 the first four games and I think I can make the real bracket; but the 1-3 start wasn't good enough.
