Will St. Brown make it past waivers to be on our PS?

They just don't need Hundley. Instead of cutting losses on a player who maxed out at insufficient level, we're compounding the mistake by losing Boyle as a prospect. Hundley has at best marginal short term value, and zero long term prospects.

Of the three, Hundley has the best chance of winning now if he has to play. Kizer has more long term potential. People get too worked up about Boyle. 2 years ago everybody got worked up about Joe Callahan. Last year it was Taysom Hill. This year it's Boyle. If they lose Boyle, next year it will be someone else.

Probably. Do late 6th round picks who get cut usually get picked up by other teams? If the Packers lose him, will it make that big of a difference?

I'm not convinced that Hundley would have a better W-L record than Kizer. They are close, and Kizer might get better over a stretch of games. But perhaps the coaches agree with you.
BTW, Bretsky suggested (in unintelligible broken english) that Packers could/should cut both and go with a pickup. They did that once in recent memory.

Not much intrigue this year
Is Murphy already on IR? MArtini doesn;t look very good.

Murphy is not on IR, but I read he was seen with his foot in a protective boot. Martini and Thomas are probably battling for the last ILB spot. I went with Thomas.

Based on the roster predictions, Packers will have 5 players remaining from 2010 SB season: Rodgers, Bulaga, Matthews, Williams, Crosby. Time flies by....

Just hit the wire that Hundley will be traded.
How any of you thought that Hundley would stick after his performance last season and little improvement this preseason is beyond me.

I'm hearing they have to carry Jones on the 53, and then he gets suspended. Is that true? If it is they basically have to slip a RB thru cuts and resign them after the cutdown deadline. (My guess at this point is Devante Mays.)

This the rumor? http://nfltraderumors.co/breaking-packers-trading-qb-brett-hundley-to-seahawks/
Getting something for Hundley is a good move. He can backup in a pinch, but not for more than 2 games IMO, and my mid-season I'm guessing Kizer would be better. If your starting QB goes down you're in big trouble 90% of the time anyway.

6th round pick for Dumpster Fire.

Would anyone here bother to keep a fullback?
As for the TE situation, I hope they part ways with Kendricks and keep Tonyan.

*Depends on injury status.
I mainly put Boyle on here because reports say the Packers are keeping all three QBs. I personally would probably go with Marwin Evans over Jermaine Whitehead--who I see as a low ceiling player. However, Whitehead has the versatility to play slot CB and I'm carrying only 5 CBs in my projections.

Don’t forget to make room for Jeff Janis. Has to be on his way back after the Browns waived him.

I don't know what people on this board are going to do. The Janis disciples must be crushed that he can't even make the Browns. They are still waiting for Callahan to be handed the starting job somewhere.

Saints waived Don Barclay, so we can bring him back too while we're at it.

No, no, no. The narrative goes that the Patriots will claim him, he'll be coached up by that Belichick magic, have a great year catching about 70 passes, and catch the winning pass in the Super Bowl.

If they're going to keep a ST WR, it would just be Davis. They're both crappy WRs, but you can make the argument Janis is worse at ST.

Looks like the Packers will keep to the TT tradition of not releasing players until the deadline.

Ian Rapoport @RapSheet
The #Packers already lost Jake Ryan for the season, and now it’s likely that LB Oren Burks (shoulder) will miss the opener, I’m told. Could miss a week or two after that. But not nearly as serious as originally feared.

told you guys that the packers training staff has no idea how to deal with shoulder injuries
we'll end up losing him for the season because of this
