Put that Donald sack on a tape and show it to Matthews. That's how you sack a QB in today's NFL.

Was Brandon Cooks really that expensive? A little speed would be nice in the receiving corps.

That’s exactly what they want....lay them in a bed of roses. I liked it when Carl Eller destroyed the guy on the blindside....oh well.

That sack might render my complaint moot, but with 3 TO they should have gone for it on 4th down.

Too far back, too dangerous.

Two passes and 20 seconds to the immortal Treadwell, and the Vikings were at midfield first and ten. For the cost of 20 seconds the Rams netted 15 yards of field position by punting.

Vikings have tough schedule to start. They can beat Philly on the road - and have ten days to get ready. I don't know what affect the whole Griffen thing will have but could be rough. Hate to see something like that, even for a rival.

The Vikings are spiraling. No run game, their pass defense is a joke and the pass rush took a hit losing Griffen, though I hope he gets his head right that ducks on a human level f football.

Plus sides for the Vikings is they can throw the ball and they have a kicker that doesn't kick, fall over, miss, then throw up on himself.

Yea, they gotta play better upfront and get that defense squared away. They are not dead yet by any means.

Will be interesting to see how the Packers play against Buffalo. I should be able to watch that game since the Vikings already played.

Raiders deciding to kick that first OT FG are very lucky it did not turn against them. That kicker was new, it was on the dirt and he missed each kick over 45 yards.

Should have either gone for it or punted. Carr had a monstrous poor play on the sack that basically took them out of FG range. They had an overload blitz on his right and sent everyone out in the pattern. Clean shot to QB after he held the ball too long. no routes in middle of field. Looked oddly familiar.

That Carr fumble /whistle was one of the most egregious blown calls I've seen in some time. He literally fumbled as he was hit, which was about to be recovered for a Browns TD..and they ruled him down "in the grasp."

As colon-wraith said last night, they have no secondary, so they can't dial up the pass rushes they like. Also, the loss of Shazier has not been properly addressed. His speed was essential to their interior D - Baltimore just ruined them with TEs running away from very slow LBs (including Watt).

The inability to replace Shazier is an organizational failure. Their whole defense was reliant on ONE player? That's just stupid.

Oh, I see. Yeah, I've heard some of that from friends who are Steeler Fans. They are still angry at the NE TD going-to-the-ground game. They have bigger problems. But the Shazier thing is just another example of how a loss of a key first round player/pick can really hurt a team. You think you have that spot all taken care of for 5-10 years and then boom it's gone. Like Neck Collins...or Randall (lol).
