i'd rather have a hot-shot college guy than an nfl retread...but that's just me. they're more up to date on the new trends than nfl guys who are always a year or two behind. i think one of them might be more agreeable to coming to GB than an nfl guy too.

That's just asking for a repeat of Ted Williams as manager.

Jim Harbaugh had limitations as a QB, so I think he has some patience and flexibility from a talent perspective. Being irredeemably red-assed about everything else is pretty much a prerequisite for a head coach.
If they hire John Harbaugh I don't know what I would do. That guy has less clue about how to run an offense as an HC than Jeff Fisher.

Matt Rhule, Baylor. Don't know him. Anyone have info on the guy? I just assume Tex has been to a Baylor brunch or two in the last five years.

Don't you think there is a better than even chance that the Saints OC is basically Sherman Lewis to Payton's Mike Holmgren?
The guy has never gotten an interview if I remember my reading over the weekend.

Not Harbaugh.
He's never won anything.
Anywhere.
Ever.

Honesty, I'd rather have Harbaugh. Meyer is as unscrupulous as they come.
He'll probably win a Super Bowl some day but I don't want to be cheering it.
