For what? Failing to break tackles in the offensive backfield?

For distorting rodgers' fragile rhythm.

ThunderDan

I said at the beginning of the year that our OL and WR talent and depth were going to be an issue. Another Easy throw Aaron makes look hard. Wtf

And I said the smart move was to move ARod while his value is high.

pbmax

For what? Failing to break tackles in the offensive backfield?

Just speculation. No one knows. Beat guys have nothing,

It’s probably the Bach injury plus SPRIGGS pass blocking concerns.

ThunderDan
12-02-2018, 02:42 PM
Boy if Fackrell held, Adams was held by the blister there.

pbmax

I said at the beginning of the year that our OL and WR talent and depth were going to be an issue.

It's proven to be true. We have no tackles outside of our starters. Our guards cannot hold up without good tackle play.

Our young WRs have hit the wall and are not really an option or they're dropping balls or running the wrong route.

Our roster is just not that talented. Our QB is playing like he did in 2015 when he had a weak supporting cast of receivers.

On top of that our defense is poor against the run probably because of the lack of DL talent with Daniels and Wilkerson out.

There's a fair chance that we end up winning no more than 6 this year.

So I virtually never start the gameday thread. Too much responsibility. Add to it that I'm going to the game next week and its even more onerous.

That being said I am choosing this week to do it because the team is in complete disarray and Fat Mike needs to lose this one to get himself canned and secure a better pick for the team. This is probably a one week responsibility.

So first off, we will look great in the first half taking a 17-7 lead into the half. Probably will get a field goal in the second half, but give up a ST score, and a few blunders to allow the Cards to steal the game with a last second FG of their own after Stubby mismanages the clock.

23-20 Cardinals. Goodbye fat mike. Goodbye responsibility of starting the gameday thread. Like the bears in the playoffs I will be one and done.

My work here is done. Buh Bye fat Mike

Even before they told the refs to knock it off, it was clear the rule applied to front facing hits and not hits to the back. Just more dumb rule making.

I will admit though that the new catch rule has gone over better than expected. But I wonder of the QB hit thing took away some coverage. Parts of the catch rule still seem needlessly complex.

Are you talking about the hit to Rodgers' head by that Card defender from behind? I wonder how in the hell did they miss that.

I still enjoy watching Packer football. I watched the Packers in the 70s and 80s and vividly remember those teams. This year's team is nothing like those teams.

This year's team is an underperforming, injury laden team that should win 10 games easily. The 70s and 80s teams seemed to always be underdogs with very little talent.

I still feel like we could go on a streak and win out, but that's becoming more and more unlikely.

Yes, with a few tweaks and a new voice and attitude at HC this is a 10 win team. I never felt that way with those teams in the 70s and 80s. We were lucky to go .500 back then.

Turned out to be perpetual menstrual cramps with him right? He would have fit right in.

I heard his best friend committed suicide with his gun but I'm not sure of the details...

Clark is a force up the middle.

Yes he is but I have a feeling this entire defense is missing Daniels. Mike is a force too and a leader on that side of the ball.

Great punt coverage.

The best thing about today was no flags on ST for blocking in the back.

Is Jones hurt, or is stubby just being a dumbass again by not putting the best players on the field?

For some reason Stubby wants to give Williams all these touches. Ray Charles can see Jones is the better back by a considerable margin.

ARod is definitely off. Every thing coming in low.

Yeah, his range is off. Its either too deep or too low.

I think this started with the comeback from the clavicle injury last year. Had same problem in Carolina game. Arm strength wasn't the same and he over compensated with angle and arc.

gotta be the collar bone

will it ever get back to 100% is the question, or does he need to adjust?

Agree, but unlike Peyton's spinal injury and nerve damage, its gonna heal fully eventually.

i know people that never regained full rotation and strength

and it should have been fully healed by now

From a clavicle injury? Really?

Even if it happens to the regular population, I doubt its going to be an issue to someone who can train 24/7/365 for six months.

But is it off by 3mm thus affecting the muscles around it thus affecting the throwing ability?

A separated shoulder is 100 times worse, and even the worst separation has only cosmetic effects after a year.

Docs joke that two pieces of a clavicle could be in different parts of the body and it would heal properly - it's a bone that just wants to heal, and heals properly on it's own in most cases. Rodgers' was pretty messed up but they fixed it so he could play again last year. If he's actually uncomfortable, they could remove the hardware (don't know if they already did that), but most people notice no differences.
