The drop in net average might not be all him, though he does hit some line drives.

Vogel never was picked up. It makes you wonder what is up with him and why we let him go.

I would bet its leg strength. He was not a bomber. He could place them well and get some height. He also had an excellent coverage team. But its hard to imagine he won't get another shot.

Do they finally get a road win?

I hope not but they probably will. The smart long term play here is to shut down ARod and tank it. They need talent. The difference between 5 wins and 7 wins is several picks that over an entire draft could easily result in having your choice of 50-70 more players.

Pretty sure I saw Vogel in a youtube punt-off. Dude certainly has the leg. His problem was consistency, the same shit Scott is having.

Shaking my head. Jon Ryan was cut, what, eons ago? And the goddamned Packers are still searching for a bona fide punter to replace Ryan. Thanks Todd.

With nothing to lose but better draft positionings, I want to see the offense run a tons of trick plays Sunday. I want to see the Double Pass, the Flea Flicker, the Fake Flea Flicker, the Halfback Pass, the Hook'N'Ladder, the Statue of Liberty, the Swinging Gate, and the Pistol Force.

My conspiracy theory is that Rodgers was never healthy going into the preseason, but he was in negotiation to become the highest paid QB in the league. Rather than jeopardize the payday, he went along knowing he wouldn't have to show anything until the regular season started. The injury in the Bears game only compounded his issues

You realize they saw him ALL last year even when injured because he was in GB and at facility. Had a physical during offseason and before camp and participated in camp.

How was he hiding the injury?

Doesn't matter what AROD says; you all those buzzers into your office, get their views, and then you either make the call immediately or if you want to be a Marcia note you are going to chat with Gooter about what is in the best interests of the Green Bay Packers and it will be your call

MAYBE THIS IS STILL TO COME; but IF IT DOES NOT

Since this game is pretty much an exhibition, why not put the Great Arm of Butte in at WR? Would help Rodgers realize that not everyone runs routes like Greg Jennings used to.

I wouldn't stoop so low as to root for the Packers to lose ever. Hitting on draft picks or not is mostly luck anyway, and a few picks one way or the other won't make a helluva lot of difference.

1) As I've pointed out numerous times, virtually very move this past year has been in the interest of turning over the roster, getting rid of Stubby and embarking on a new direction. Certainly, a lost season like this should at least net you a higher/better draft position. The Packers could field a reasonable team off their IR roster. So, yeah, they want losses, while still superficially looking like they're competing.
2) They don't believe for a second that draft pick success is based mostly on luck. Only a fool would believe such a thing.

Most fans want them to lose, ownership is doing its best to put them in position to lose, but I think the players on the field and the coaches want to win. It’s a conundrum.

That would be labeling themselves as incompetent - based on the results of pretty much every draft since we got Aaron Rodgers. And it's hard to argue anything other than good luck in having Rodgers fall to us.

if the shoe fits...

And it's hard to argue anything other than good luck in having Rodgers fall to us. The Packers still had to select him when they could have picked a ton of other need positions. It was smart drafting, and good GM work to bring in a coach who could re-mold the guy from a Tedford robot. Everyone passed on Randy Moss too.
