The Packers go 16-0. Anything less is a complete failure.

ARod throws for over 6,000 yards and 60 TDs. We won’t run any plays but ARod scrambles and throws bombs.

The D steps up and is incredible. They only allow 3 points all year and that was because the refs threw a shitty PI flag on Alexander in the end zone. The D pushed the other team back from the 1 yard line, who had to settle for a 53 yard field goal that hit off the cross bar and still went in.

The Packers will be the first team to win all 3 playoff games they play by at least 35 points each. This team will go down as the greatest team ever.

LaFluer just blew out his knee. Out for the season. Season is fucked.

And uncool Pack fans made fun of me for arguing for Murphy to hire J-Mac.

He's a little weak on his Homer-ic anatomy.

Damn you're good, Rand hahahaha - classical Greek references now. What could be more anti-Homer than tearing an Achilles.

That would be like running in the Indy 500 against a bus full of bears driven by ditka

A closer look at the Packers 2019 Pre & Regular season schedules has revealed a most curious occurrence. The Packers will play the Raiders and the Chiefs in both the Pre and Regular seasons. I'm sure that this sort of thing has occurred in the past, but I can't recall just when. It could prove to be most interesting.

5 of GB's first 7 regular season games will be home games. Also, only 3 of the 16 regular season games will be played in a doomed stadium. In fact the final two games will be played inside doomed stadiums. Also, following the bye week, GB will play 4 of their last 6 games on the road.

Another forum poster insinuated that the Panthers and the 49ers were less than top competition. I beg to differ. The Panthers can be quite a handful when they are on their game and the 49ers, who had injury problems last season, will be fielding a healthy QB and may prove to be better than than their last season's record shows.

The NFC East teams, the Cowboys, Redskins, Eagles, and Giants, will not be pushovers either. IMO, The Eagles and Cowboys will be the contenders in that division.

The AFC West teams, the Chiefs, Chargers, Raiders, and Broncos, will each offer up their best, but the Chargers and the Chiefs will be the best teams from that division. The Chiefs and the Chargers will be road games and they will be back to back contest. I say put on those seat belts, it's going to be a couple of nail biters.

I've saved the NFC North for last. IMO, Detroit will show up for their 2 games and loose them both to the Packer ground game. The Vikings will put on a show in both games, but GB's Secondary will shut them down. As for the Bears, GB may well go 1 - 1 with them this season. In fact both may finish with the same records and the division title could fall to PF/PA records.

Predicting a team's record ahead of seeing them even play a down is fun, but an impossible task. I'll offer no predictions about records, but maybe dedicating this season to the memory of Bart Starr would inspire then to play like champions too.

I also have the Packers winning the Pro Bowl.

I'm guessing if they go 16-0 in the regular season, they will have a first round bye? Or do you mean they will dominate the probowl too?

I want this to happen somehow, so I can hold it over the head of all the other teams since its never going to happen again.

here's a homer prediction. 10-6 with an outside shot at the division, aaron jones gets 1k, gary and savage become fan favorites, and sternberger wins the preseason mvp.

Two other NFC teams go 16-0 also, and win the 20th tiebreaker over the Packers by having more garish Color Rush uniforms.

Packers sweep their 4 playoff games. 20-0.

I appreciate the extra thought required to make this 20-0 record happen. I only wonder if it's truly possible (please don't bother checking) due to schedules and common opponents. Specifically, can three teams in the NFC actually go 16-0?

It is not possible. Two teams theoretically could but not three.

I had to think about this for a while but this is correct. Because of the divisional play inside the conference only two teams can sweep the season.

Guess the Packers will have to break a rule that causes the commissioner to rule that they forfeit their bye and have to play on wild card weekend even with a 16-0 record.

OK the title was 2019 Predict the Packers Record. And it is never to early to make a prediction and look bad later. Just too tempting. :-)

Preseason:
- Houston: W 21-12 Kizer 2 TD passes
- at Baltimore: L 9-14 Crosby 3 FG 50+. Locks up the K spot.
- vs Oakland at Winnipeg: L 34-37 Saskatchewan Roughriders are the "Packers of the CFL" so this feels like a road game. Rodgers 2 TD passes 1st quarter, rest of game off.
- Kansas City - W 17-14 Our scrubs beat theirs. Kizer 2 TDs, 1 rush 1 pass

Regular Season:
at Chicago - W 17-14 - 1-0
Minnesota - L 33-24 - 1-1
Denver - W 31-13 - 2-1
Philadelphia - L 24-27 - 2-2
at Dallas - W 24-21 - 3-2
Detroit - W 34-31 - 4-2
Oakland - W 45-21 - 5-2
at Kansas City - L 34-14 - 5-3
at LA Chargers - L 45-35 - 5-4
Carolina - W 24-21 - 6-4
at San Francisco - W 38-14 - 7-4
at NY Giants - W 28-7 - 8-4
Washington - W 23-7 - 9-4
Chicago - L 16-13 - 9-5
at Minnesota - W 38-12 - 10-5
at Detroit - L 31-30 - 10-6

Long ago ESPN had pretty extensive coverage of the CFL, then I moved here to Seattle and got the CFL on CBC for a while.

Got to have a team to root for to maintain any interest when newiy following a league. I always thought "Saskatchewan" sounded cool for some reason, even though I've never been anywhere near the province. Then I found out they were called the "Packers of the CFL" back in the old days; what's not to like? So yes, GO Riders GO!

Too bad there is not much CFL coverage anymore here south of the border.

That Chiefs-Chargers-Panthers sequence is really a minefield. I think Rodgers will have one of his best years this year and will them to victory over Carolina. If he doesn't he really could be trying to hold up the sky after that.
