3 Packers in Top 50. Clark at 37, Rodgers at 17 and Bakhtiari at 13. Adams conspicuous by his absence. This is not a list of top players from 2018 season, but their list of the top players entering the 2019 season. Clearly they feel Rodgers can still be an elite player.

Rodgers at 17, and you somehow think that is good? Sheeeesh!

The Packers are poised for a really big year. I’m putting a pyramid bet starting with division and going up to super bowl.

So you were hoping for 67th and a chip on the shoulder year from Rodgers?

Looks to me like most of this list was made from PFT player rankings using a two-year window. There's probably a few exceptions to account for injuries and overall team talent affecting individual performance. But in any case, putting Adams behind Julio Jones, OBJ, Keenan Allen, and DeAndre Hopkins doesn't seem wrong. Michael Thomas: is he really that good (#12) or beneficiary of system and QB?

Yes. Being rated in the top .01 (one hundredth) of one percent of all players seems pretty good.

I wouldn't even settle for 17th best all time. BTW, it seems your math is a little bit shaky. ".01 (one hundredth) of one percent" would be #1 out of 10,000 players - or 17th out of 170,000. To the best of my knowledge, they haven't expanded rosters quite that much hahahahaha.

I don't trust them if they are based on PFT's (http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com) rankings.

The PFF50 is a product of evaluating every player on every play of each NFL season to produce PFF’s unrivaled database of stats, grades and information. This list is not about how valuable players are, but about how good they are, regardless of position.

We started from the standpoint of a multi-year look at their grading before making adjustments based on situation, injuries where relevant, and new circumstances that could change a player’s future outlook.

I think it's more likely that PFT used PFF as a source.
