Murphy recalling when #Packers GM Ted Thompson drafted Jordy Nelson in the second round out of Kansas State, says he remembers Thompson being especially excited: "I realize now Ted doesn't get excited very often. He was very excited."

@ReinerOlivia
Jordy Nelson said that Green Bay fit him and his family "perfectly."
"I don’t think you know until you’ve been somewhere else." #Packer

@ByRyanWood
Jordy Nelson says Mark Murphy reached out to him a couple weeks after he retired, asked if he'd be interested in retiring as a Packer: "Obviously, I'll always be remembered a Packer."

Jordy Nelson says the 31-yard toe-drag catch from Aaron Rodgers against the 49ers in 2914 stands out as one of his favorite moments of his career. ‘Twas a beauty. #Packers

Jordy Nelson joking on Davante Adams: “He wasn’t too fond of me early on in his career. He thought I hated him after I made him pay attention in meetings.” #Packers

I'm honored, spoiled and privileged to have been able to create this song:

"Jordy Nelson always beats killer D"

https://thekickassparodyproject.bandcamp.com/track/jordy-nelson-always-beats-killer-d

Lyrics:

The Pack's receiving demon
Both away and at home
Catching TD's proper
In college he was the great white hope

Well you won't know if they're running or throwing
He plays great technique
Only one thing's for certain
Jordy Nelson always beats killer D

Now he's breaking more records
Writing Packers lore
Big 1st down the scores tied
Double teamed and yet he still scores
Bears Lions Vikings
All hang their heads in jealousy
Wishing for a tough guy
Who consistently scores TD's

Well you won't know if they're running or throwing
He plays great technique
Only one thing's for certain
Jordy Nelson always beats killer D

Truly awesome.
Hope they bring him back on the one day contract thing.

They did. He got a press conference.

If you go to the video front page, you can get Rodgers on Nelson too.

Given the wanker WRs on the team, they should’ve given Nelson a 1 year contract instead, to man the slot.

It will be interesting to see if they give Cobb a retirement contract and press conference next year.

Any chance he has a one or two year rejuvenation in him? Or will he get hurt in the middle of it?
