HAMSTRING

Can't have a Packer injury thread without the word hamstring in it.

Kingsley Keke missed practice today with a quad contusion. Danny Vitale dropped out of practice today with a calf injury. On the bright side, Josh Jackson and Aaron Jones returned.

Can't find any way to rename it, if I could I would split the difference and make it a preseason week 1 thread.

Lets just be clear to date the injuries we post.

I mean date AND time.

Apparently the Texans took a lot worse beating injury-wise in the game and practices than the Packers. Everybody has injuries. This season at least, we don't seem to have gotten hit as badly as most teams.

It’s early. Still plenty of time for disaster to strike. And it will. I guarantee it.

In a rare alignment of the planets, I too am glad that the GB injury list is small. KNOCK ON WOOD !

EQ should go on IR, even though they have to keep him on roster through final cutdown. Might mean keeping six.other WRs.
No word on Bolton yet?

No word on Bolton, and MLF said today in his PC he's not really going to talk about injuries before the start of the season. Not sure how the word about ESB got out.

adams, allison, mvs, davis, kumerow, shephard, and lazard (if they go 7). if they bring back eq after the 8 week mandate someone will have to go.

If they want to designate EQ for return, he has to be on roster after cutdowns. Let Shepherd or Lazard go and either one probably gets picked up. Can they keep 8 for final cutdown? Hard to see how if they're keeping four TEs.

"Someone will have to go": You don't really expect Packers to make it through first half of the season with an intact roster, do you? :-)
