As much as some might deny it, nearly all of us have a weak spot for a snack/s. In my case I'm more into salty snacks. My favorite is Corn Chips or Potato Chips or Pretzels with some type of cubed cheese. Sharp Cheddar, Monterey Jack, Colby, or a cheese spread like we often see during the Christmas Season, a 1 on 1 combination goes well with a Cold Beer and a football game.

Some like the sweets like pie, cake, chocolate, jelly beans, hard candy, or etc.
Ice Cream and Sodas (like Coke or Sprite or Mountain Dew) fall into this category. Pudding, candy bars (like Snickers or M&Ms or Butterfingers) also belong in this collection. Cookies too.

You might call nuts or peanuts a salty snack, but I see them as a special case.

Not that these foods are especially healthy, but we each occasionally do treat ourselves to such things. What's your special treat?

That is Rand's eloquent way of saying: salty with a touch of grit.

Actually, it's my not so eloquent way of being a bastard. :)

Also, Ice cream is very salty. Putting it in the 'sweet' category shows ignorance.

No worries, he's been added to the ignore list. You smelled a rat. Salted rat jerky after all is only locally available in his isolated hollow of W.Va..

I learned many years ago how to tell the difference between a W.Va. girl and a buzzard. The buzzard has wings.

Does that contain nuts or maybe coconut?
