Lotta dumb penalties. Offense stagnated again though ot quite as bad today, Run game looked OK without Williams. Liked the play selection without Adams.

Savage (ankle) Linsley (concussion) and Dr Zaius hurt. Dr. Z came back in but left with a knee I think.

Patrick looked OK at center but with at least one shaky snap.

Solid Team Win. On the Road. Against a good opponent.

I'll take it.

Hopefully none of the injuries are of significance.

226 yards by Cooper, even if most of the yards were gained during "garbage time" is unacceptable!

Alexander played like Gunter!

All the scripted plays worked. All the unscripted plays failed.

Bill Huber @BillHuberSI
Rodgers is all smiles as @mattschneidman asks about the direct snaps to Aaron Jones. Those were not planned.

I MUST HAVE MISSED THIS

Aaron Jones on waving to Byron Jones before reaching the end zone: “I was just in the zone. I didn’t realize I did it until I came off the field. No disrespect to him, he’s a great player.”

@BillHuberSI
I love this job because of the things you learn when you do research. I meant to write about the advantage of the mini-bye following a Thursday game. Those teams are 5-1 this year but, who would have thought, merely 13-19 last year.

@TomSilverstein
Packers RB Aaron Jones has 12 carries for 87 yards and 4 TDs and six catches for 68 yards.

SAVAGE WAS DECLARED OUT IN SECOND HALF

@ByRyanWood
#Packers CB Kevin King said it was just a knee bruise that forced him into the blue medical tent after his INT. Does not expect it to be a problem. Certainly not as severe as the groin injury, which had him thinking Wednesday there was no way he could play. GB sure happy he did.

@ByRyanWood
Final: #Packers 34, Cowboys 24. The Packers improve to 4-1, they're perhaps a bad DPI no-call from being 5-0, and they've still never lost inside Jerry's World. A statement win that could propel this team forward.

@jasonjwilde
Kevin King insisted on Monday he would play. Looks like he was right. Meanwhile, #Packers coach Matt LaFleur goes with Tra Carson, promoter from the practice squad, as Aaron Jones’ backup instead of Dexter Williams. Only 25% of the team’s Williamses — Tramon— is active today.

It was a statement win. The offense keeps getting better. AR doesn't turn the ball over. The defense is a turnover machine. The punter is a weapon. They're a good team.

Packers outscore Dallas 31-3
Then Dallas rips-off 24-3

Not uncommon in NFL - teams lose their edge when they get way ahead, get conservative. It even makes sense for them to just kill the clock and not worry too much about points.

Not my favorite type of game. It was fun to watch the first whuppin part. But rest was slow.

Aaron Jones had more than 30 friends and family in attendance for his 182-yard, four-TD day.
"It doesn’t get any better than that. It was special. I’ll never forget this day." #Packers

Anyone have access to Cowboys media? Was that an unusually large contingent of Packers fans.

Gary did have a decent game. Ran down Dak and then blew up a run back to back. Forced a 3rd and long early in game that lead to punt and us getting bigger lead

Not sure this where to post this, but Banjo seems about right. After Jones looked uncomfortable in an outsize ZBS, my first impression is that we ran mostly inside ZBS today. I'll have to watch again to see if the blocking changed, or just AJones approach.

He is the same size as Darrius Shepherd, who everyone thinks is too small for some reason (listed as 5' 11", 186).

I imagine he was more agitated around that contract time and with the Vikings.

These days I suspect it has to do with making a go in a second career as a broadcaster as much as anything.

Got it. Pretty funny. Rodgers' reaction is hilarious. It helps that he's in a lot better mood in his PC's this year. I wonder what his reaction would have been last year.

Jennings was 5’11” 200 and ran a 4.4

Shepherd is 5’11” 186 and runs a 4.6

It’s the size and speed that makes people question. But dude is slick and savvy so ya never know.

Don't know if it's been posted, but the last RB to score 4 rushing TDs for GB was Levens in week 16 of the '99 season against AZ. Before that, back to 1960, Terdell Middleton against Seattle in '78 and Taylor did it 3 times - twice in '62 and once in '61.

Shaun Alexander and LaDanian Tomlinson have three 4TD games in their careers too.

Packers won a big game on the road with Will Redmond (76%) and Chandon Sullivan (53%) playing the majority of snaps. I don't think Capers could have pulled that off. When he had to play the young backups in the secondary, confusion often reigned.

I would expect Hollman is strictly outside and man coverage at this point? Matchup might have played a role.

I'm pretty sure the one and only place a horse collar tackle is legal is on a QB in the pocket.
