The Seahawks have been desperate for receivers ever since Holmgren got there, and probably even before that.

Clearly they think they are poised for another run at the Super Bowl and are willing to invest a 1st round pick for a key missing link on their roster.

I think it is a wise move for the Hawks. The championship window opens and closes very quickly..... you have to strike when the opportunity exists.

I think he is going to have a hard time picking up the system. Its hard to imagine him having much of an impact in there offense.

They were saying how hamstrung Brady was a lack of a quality WR. So they also said it was certain that Branch would re-sign with the Pats because of that need.
