Big changes at the top this week. Saints take over the top spot, Seattle goes from 5 to 2, and 49ers go from 1 to 5. In my opinion, the 2 teams with the toughest stadium for opponents to play in now have the 2 top spots.

Clinching Scenarios

New Orleans Saints have clinched NFC South

If the Niners beat the Saints, do the Saints have a better or worse common opponent or conference record than the Packers? That #2 seed would be nice.

The fact that the Packers could win out, be 13-3 and still be a #3 seed is just bizarre.

Right now Saints are 8-2 in conference, Packers are 6-2. Packers and Saints have same record vs common opponents. Next tie-breaker would be strength of victory. Saints have the edge there, and will continue to have the edge because their schedule down the stretch is tougher than Packers.

It would be weird too to be the Rams and be 7 - 5 and still be a game out of the Wild Card spot while the 6 - 6 Cowpukes are in.

Beat Vikes, KC. Lost to SF.

Not too shabby.

Not too shabby.Like most any division game, any given Sunday. Which means game 2 is up for grabs. Doubt (trigger word for you huh) KC win would have happened with Mahommes 100%. Also blew it to eagles at home. Correction: Got humiliated by SF.

Got humiliated in SD too. Not convinced it was the quality of the opponent. Though probably odds are better for SF than SD (sorry, LAC).

We'll see about Vikes. Like any Viking game in dome, could be either way. But Packers record against teams with good records this year is very favorable.

Eagles game should have been a flat out win, they blew that every way to Wednesday.

Then we better root for the Niners next week, as a Saints loss to them would put them a game behind the Packers both in common opponents and conference.

With 49ers win over Saints, 49ers take over #1 seed and Packers have #2 seed. If Seahawks win tonight vs Rams they take over #1 seed and 49ers drop to 5.

Haha! Well that is a shitty reward for beating the saints. Go seattle I guess.

If Seattle wins tonight, the #5 seed in the NFC will be 11-2. And the #4 seed will be 6-7.
