Gotta include both Smith Bro's as Studs...great pressure all night just couldn't corral The Slippery Wilson... Throw bad back Kenny Clark in there also...he played his ass off

I thought King played well. He was a tackling machine. Alexander was beaten a bunch by Lockett.

Veldheer. Don't know that he had a great game. But he didn't collapse in place of Bulaga, and that was a key.

I am very glad we drafted Jenkins over Metcalf. No Jenkins : no playoffs.

When you hardly hear the names of Adrian Amos, Tramon Williams, and Savage mentioned, you know they played a good game.

Also, nobody mentioned Martinez? The guy was steady and solid against the run, and at least decent against the pass.

Everybody else on the stud side I can think of has already been mentioned.

On the dud side, the O Line in the second half, Scott after his first punt, Crosby on kickoffs and heaven help us if we woulda needed a game winning FG.

Great call. And again, great move bringing that guy in.

OL was hot and cold. Missed some stunts and shifts. Need to be better.

I vote Kenny Clark to Stud and think Za'Darius gets left off the list. Not Dud, he got penetration but didn't get Wilson down often.

Ponch did play a whale of a game in run support. They were clearly geared to stop that in the first half and it worked. He had a lot of hits in the backfield.

+1 on Ponch. Super active and not the drag down tackles he's been accused of making.

Dud: Buck's dye job. Bro', just roll with the gray.

Pretty amazing actually. That was a really smart waiver claim by Gooter. And to think, wasn't this dude a Patriot? With their OL problems, gotta wonder why they didn't let him back in.

Arod said something about him being in the stands watching the Bear game to start the season.....true? Insane if it is.

Yes, except the enthusiasm with which they go after the passer sometimes left gaping holes for Wilson to run through.

Veldheer played with Billy Turner in Denver. I wonder if that experience helped him get acclimated yesterday.

I am glad the defense can play both man and zone. But man that zone was loose.

New thread with poll about that defense coming up.

We, or at least Joe and myself, forgot someone that Fritz remembered in another thread.

Also Fritz's post just reminded me: Kudos for The Flower for throwing the ball (with a back in the backfield) when they needed a first down and not just a 25 second clock run.

I’m an admitted X and O moron, but I thought the offense had some real imagination.

WTH, I'll give Sternberger a stud rating for talking shit to Clowney, after Clowney ALMOST ripped his head off.....

Sternberger will be a big part of the offense next year.

The intriguing aspect for me is that the biggest question most had about him was blocking; yet he impressed everyone from day one in camp and has been used extensively as a blocker since being activated. I am cautiously optimistic about his future, and look forward to what new wrinkles they may have for him even this week and/or in two weeks!
