Well, Rodgers has done all he can do this game to get a win. About time for someone else to step up.

we've no longer shut down George Kittle; it was a great game plan :)

That fucker is really good.

WELL NICE TO SEE GOODSON RUNNING HARD TO THE BALL. BUT....

Looked like Kittle with OPI.

KITTLE WAS BLOCKING THE SHIT OUT OF REDMOND

ThunderDan
01-19-2020, 08:23 PM
That is horrible. In the Wisconsin game it is OPI. In the Packer game it is DPI.

Mike Perrara has turned out to be worthless

For the most part every game he just rubberstamps his past peers

KITTLE WAS BLOCKING THE SHIT OUT OF REDMOND

WHY WOULD ANYONE THINK IT WAS GOING TO BE A PASS?

Cheesehead Craig
01-19-2020, 08:24 PM
The early stuff they let go but right after Kittle made his break that's what got Redmond for. He just hit him one too many times.

Joemailman
01-19-2020, 08:24 PM
Will be interesting to see if we have enough confidence in him to cut tied with the dead weight aka....#80. You could use the savings for a free agent WR

I think they will. They save 8 million by cutting Graham.

I hate the milquetoast approach. Gotta realize your not as good and just let it all hang out right off the bat. Seems like we didn't have any sort of answer for the aggressiveness of their D.

mraynrand
01-19-2020, 08:43 PM
I don't feel as though the defense actually was so much at fault for bad play as for being completely unsuited to match up with a team like SF. You can only bring in so many FAs to cover for a stretch of poor picks and moves from the previous regime.

well we took a step towards making things 'level'. We do not seem to be able to draft defense well. That should be the starting point. Identifying and drafting above average defense for the long haul.

We need O also. Too many D centered drafts recently. Need WRs, TE, OL.

D needs ILB and DL.

They had a great offseason last year, but they still have a lot of holes to fill to be a championship team. Maybe too many for where they've finished.

Well if they cut Graham you can get 1 prime FA signing and hope you have a good draft.

Need to have Gary step up next year and hopefully, Sturnberger stays healthy all years and takes a jump.

I've said it before and I will again. This team will not go to the Superb Owl again in AR's remaining time at QB. That is not his fault at all. Just too many years of TT and stubby to overcome in the time he has left.

Green Bays defence plays perfectly into what the 49ers ran. Play man D and the wr and te pull defenders off the line. Then run wide options outside and the lack of a fast sideline to sideline mlb leaves them vulnerable to big runs.

Against that team you have to play zone, so all the misdirection is in front of you. That's why Seattle plays them so tough.

They played mostly zone. Problem was run fits to the option.

There is a reason you did not see Kittle until they played man on him very late.

The D did what it was designed to do - defend the pass. Unfortunately, the SFO* didn't oblige.

Sort of. They would have normally been happy to surrender more yardage to the run game to corral Kittle, but not kind of yardage.

Overcompensated.

It's ok. The mods just didn't give you enough weapons for the postseason. Mad was MIA for too many seasons so the cupboard was bare.
