Obviously the right move but I feel bad for him. No lack of effort on his part. In late 2018 he played with a broken hand even with the team out of contention. His body just failed him. Great player once. Too bad we didn't get to see it here.

Makes me nervous about what they plan to do... absolutely don't want Hooper.

Hooper is still 2x as good as Jimmy

Will anyone be desperate enough to sign Graham to similar contact dollars?

Wist, why on earth would you NOT want Hooper. A young TE in his prime that blocks and catches. Checks every box I want in a TE.

As disappointing as he was, he still was their top option. Biggest issue is his contract meant they likely missed out on another FA opportunity.

No way Graham gets a big contract, but he will be a bargain for somebody for $3 or 4 million a year.

Thank goodness it's not GB wasting the money

Well if we complained about his ass as a Packer we really gonna hate him now.

So now they are paying Trey Burton AND Jimmy Graham like Top 10 TEs. Nice.

I'll say this for Graham: he played thru injuries, wasn't a complainer and by all accounts was a good teammate. His production didn't come close to matching his contract, so it's a smart move to let him go and eat up someone else's salary cap space.

Wonder how the bears feel about signing graham now that cam newton has been told to find a trade?

Cam would be the best QB they had in Chicago in forever

But I’m not sure they can do it now
