IDK.

Seems like a decent body of work.

Not a lot of offensive playmakers, though.

It's an inexact science. Even Ron Wolf had Terrell Buckley, Jon Michels and Antuan Edwards.

I suppose you can pencil in Kevin King as the 2017 pick. At least I would. He was the guy they wanted and they knew they could trade back a little and get him. I think you can see how much Thompson regressed From 2011 to 2017. The only game changer he acquired was Kenny Clark and even some would debate that. Just a lot of mediocrity.

Then with Gute we had to sit through a very very painful season and you take Rashan Gary with the 12th pick of the draft. That pick could of been turned into so much more value or even filled a big need. Instead you take this project with questionable production in college. This is why I don’t like the combine and all the hype. You get some guy in there that just wow’s everyone and the fantasy begins. The reality is you bought a corvette with no engine. Some guys are great athletes but aren’t great football players. They just don’t have the natural instincts or can’t click that switch upstairs to go where they need to go. This i believe is the case with Gary.

Alexander I think is a stud. Savage was a All rookie guy but boy did he get ran the hell over against the Niners and just looked bad.

We’ll see.

Might as well include Jordy in 2008 for the same reason.

There was a huge disconnect that happened with Thompson around 2012. I was all about Ted Thompson. He plugged holes and kept the shelves stocked on offense. He was hitting on guys left and right. Then I just started scratching my head on draft day for a couple years but just figured Thompson knew better because his record was so good. Then around the 3rd year of head scratching on draft day it was easy to smell something wasn’t right. The whole situation is kinda sad as he was a great talent evaluator.

I’ve always thought that in his prime if Thompson would of successfully used free agency on a bigger scale along with his draft pools that the Packers could of had some “dream teams”.

Looks pretty good since 2016, to be honest.

If we are being honest, Ha Ha and Randall are both still starting safeties in this league. Truth is the worst pick I see was Datone. A couple injured guys, but that is fluky.

BTW, if Gutes history stays course get ready to trade up for Mims.

I think I agree. Mims matches the profile unless Jefferson drops and Gute doesn't like to stay put.

I think Packers are going up and back.

However, I think there is a chance they don't go WR with first pick, thinking they'll be OK in Round 2 or 3. But if there isn't a WR run in the first round, he'll look to move up and get the highest WR on his board.
