This is what a Packer fan on the Net feels after Opening Week 26-0 loss to da Bears:

It isn't pretty !

We Suck
And I can give you 26 reasons why!

By Patrick Stuckey / Packer Pundit

When I started this blog I promised you [as well as myself] that I would be honest and truthful about the state of the Packers. The team in general. The coaches and management. So let's have at it.

01 and 02) Brett threw 2 really really really stupid interceptions.

Hey I'll cut him some slack when the ball gets tiped or a defense rolls coverage or somebody misses an assignment.

But this FREAKING CHUCKING THE DAMN BALL DOWNFIELD shit has got to go!

Thanks Brett for not allowing us to be shut out since you've been a starter. Thanks Brett for personally stopping two damn good scoring chances with your stupid 'gunslinger' passes. Nulling some damn fine efforts by Driver... Green... and even Robert Ferguson. It's not acceptible. McCarthy.... okay I have to move on but believe me my sharpest knives will be out for our 'quote' coaching staff 'un-effin-quote'

03) LT Chad Clifton... What the hell was that? Do you really want paid for the performance you put in yesterday? I'm effin' 5'8" and roughly 205 pounds (hey... I'm big boned... don't judge) and at least I could have stuck my fat body in front of somebody to block. Next time... just hold up one of those school crossing guard signs that says GO in big Green letters!

04) Vonta 'hands of stone' Leach... if Henderson wasn't hurt you'd be on the waiver wire!

05) David ole' Martin... it's called a block... when the defender rushes Brett... you and Mr. Clifton need to decide which one of you would prefer to block said defender... insterad of doing your matador impersonation and watching as Brett gets the crap knocked out of him. Dave... your not a rookie... you just suck!

06) Somebody put out a missing persons report for our star rookie reciever Greg Jennings... couldn't he find the stadium? One catch... unacceptable... and I don't want to hear Brett didn't throw it you you... Get your ass open!

07) Bubba Franks (see above)

08) Samkon Gado is showing signs of what made him the stand out 3RD STRING running back he was at Liberty College. 2 carries for minus 7 yards. 3 Kick off returns for a 19 yard average. We cut Davenport for this?

09) Jason Spitz stepping on Brett's foot on a crucial down!

10) KGB Ummm... didn't you used to be a top pass rusher? I doubt he even got close enough to Grossman to see what his number is. It's 8 KGB... 8!!!

11 and 12) Free Agent Loads Pickett and Allen. Specialist at shutting down the run. Pickett had 4 tackles... Allen zip!

13) CB Charles Woodson was lost in the backfield. He did redeem himself with some flashes of excellence in returning punts.

14) Al Harris just flat out sucked! Muhammad made a fool of him and Woodson. Some one... two punch we got in the D back field.

15) Marquand Manuel got burnt bad on the Bears first TD and gets the "Toast Award" However I will concede he played excellent run support.

16) Jon Ryan should go back to playing hockey. Just pathetic hang time. And his audition for back up QB didn't exactly thrill me.

17) Dave Rayner missed a long... 53 yard field goal attempt... which isn't that bad... except... he missed it really really bad! I don't even think it made the goal line??? And speaking of that... his only kick off went to the 5. Not good enough. Longwell could kick it that far (as long as he had a 15 mile an hour wind to his back)

18) Noah Herron... Noah Herron... Noah.............. again... we cut Davenport why?

19) The whole stinkin' kick off team. Let's try blocking somebody next game. We had 7 effin KO attempts and we averaged 18.3 yards a kick. Pathetic!

20) Punt coverage... or lack there of? Honestly... do I need to expound on this?? I think not.

21) Brady 'where did he go' Poppinga who let a No Body Tight End look like an All pro.

22 - 25) Coaches McCarthy... Jagodzinski... Sanders... and Stock. I hope you don't think your jobs are secure??? Especially McCarthy... you may want to check with Ray Rhodes.

26) Triple T... Teddy Thompson. You've got a short leash too Ted... this is your team... you better hope they get better.

Comment woodbuck27:

Now. There's a " take no prisoners - spare no pain " viewpoint. . .

on Bears 26 and the "Packed in" Packers ahhhh, what's that thing??

a ZEEEERRRRROOOOO !

If ya don't laugh. . . you'll go crazy !

His first INT was Greg Jennings fault, he turned in, and it was suppose to be a turn out....His 2nd INT was Brett trying to get some points...smart or not, i donno, but his first INT wasn't his fault.

I hate to be a complainer, but it makes me feel better that there are alot of people that are as disgusted about the Packers performance as I am. I understand that the Packers weren't that good last year, and there will be growing pains due to youth, etc. etc. But, when I think of the game plan and apparent lack of readiness to play in an opening game against the biggest rival we have, my blood pressure goes up.

My biggest fear is that the head coach and his coordinators were in the highest level jobs they belonged in - last year!

Couldn't agree more. I waited, as many of the Kool-Aid drinkers asked, until after the 1st REAL game. I am still waiting...........for a score......for adequate pass defense..........for adequate special teams. This team flat out did not look prepared to play. MM looks to be WAY over his head in this job, which is a direct reflection on TT. It is TT's responsibility to hire coaches, as well as drafts and roster evaluations. I still fail to see what TT sees in MM. He was an OC at the worst team in the NFL the prior year, and wasn't a shining star in NO, either!

This team is a laughingstock.

He threw it over his head, how is in versus out a factor?

He was five yards away from where he was suppose to be when you go up and in as opposed to down and out yes the ball will go over your head. The original posters take on pickett is bad also he held the point of attack against the run thats his only job, he is not going to get reggie type sack numbers, 24 of the 26 points I agree whole heartedly.

But, when I think of the game plan and apparent lack of readiness to play in an opening game against the biggest rival we have, my blood pressure goes up. i think it was more the lack of execution of the game plan. they had the right coverage called on the berriman t.d. but players blew the coverage.clifton misses a block on 3rd and 1 and moll gets to high on 4th and 1.not bad planning bad execution.calm down fans and remember, as you judge, so shall you be judged.
