What’s really trying to be accomplished here? A seamless transition to 10-6 after Aaron is gone?

Gute has already Fucked that up!!!!

Go get us someone that can help us win now. There will be plenty of time to worry about the draft pick and the salary cap when this team is a perennial 5-11 team in a few years!!!! Geez!!

I guarantee then everyone will be like man I wish we would of went all in when we had Aaron those last few years cause we aren’t even gonna smell the playoffs for awhile.

I've been watching that Rodgers press conference every week on YouTube. I didn't bother this week - with the loss and all.

I'm reading this thread after writing what I wrote in the game week thread. Brandon, what you're saying here is very similar to what I wrote there with regard to the post Rodgers future. As for the present, though, this is a helluva lot better than a 10-6 team. 5-11 without Rodgers translates to approximately 13-3 with Rodgers. I seriously doubt there is any intent to drag the team down now, but I wouldn't rule out the idea that they think they can play 10-6 ball after he is gone ...... nope, that isn't gonna happen. Mike Sherman went 52-28. McCarthy had a long term sharply winning record. LaFleur is 17-4 so far in the regular season. Were any of them coaches who were that damn good? Hell No. They simply had Rodgers and Favre before him.
