APB is done. Someone’s gotta take the honors. Kind of a tough time with all the injuries, but I’ll go ahead and be the bad luck charm.

Im not confident in this one. But I always hope for a W and it’s sure possible

Packers 27
Texans 33

Depends what Houston team shows up. If the one that plays to their talent does then Houston wins. Packers are beat up which is crazy when they are just two weeks out of a bye week.

Hopefully this loss will push Gute from “Getting On The Phone” to “Actually Making A Trade”

It seems to be so hard and challenging for him.

Always a little disconcerting when 2 hours before gametime you don't know who the LT is. Unless you're Tex. Comeback day for Rodgers
though.

Packers 30
Texans 24

I just don’t want to see this offense revert back to zero urgency and burning the whole play clock every play without much rhythm and consistency.

This game = No Bueno. I have no confidence. Too many key injuries. I think the score will look close at the end, only because GB will finally start to figure things out, but it'll be too late.

Missing Savage, King, Aaron Jones and Bakh. The vibe is concerning heading into the game.

In my humble opinion, the initial post of the GameDay thread should contain at least a non-political, non-football mumbling. Once the game starts, it’s all futbol, so might as well spice up the thread a bit while we wait impatiently for kick off.

For example, last season, ole Bobble was like, “Got home ‘late’ from a poker session; horny as a goat but wife’s at the gym; guess it’s time to catch up with the aphrodisiac vids.” I, for one, would love to know Harrell’s secret regarding hooking up with the ladies.

Anyways, Packers 72, Tex-asses 0.

Power to the Packers!

What the fuck’s wrong with Jones?

Pulled a calf muscle in practice.

GB-Brandon
10-25-2020, 11:13 AM
My prediction for today is Rodgers is gonna hold onto the ball too long and get sacked etc etc and everyone is going to start blaming Rodgers when we literally have nobody other then Adams on offense.

I didn't notice Tonyan mentioned. Is he playing? Significant if he is. No Aaron Jones? Bad news, but I'm expecting to see some Dexter Williams today - J. and Dillon too, but I'd like to see what Dexter can do. Houston is gonna be playing pass a lot, which means we may have a big day running the ball. Just the same, though, it will come down to Aaron Rodgers winning the game, as always. Possible high scoring game, as Houston has a more than decent offense.

Green Bay 45 Houston 23

Jennings, Nelson and Aaron Jones were and are similar in how they were sort of high speed weavers. Adams brings a little more stop and start vs pure weaving.

Adams and Jennings probably the best at creating separation
Nelson probably the best at being on the same page with 12
Adams and Jennings probably the best after the catch

Adams, Nelson and Jennings are probably the conversation. I think Adams might be the most complete because he’s tougher than Jennings was and better at getting separation than Nelson was. It’s a topic tho

Lazard has been reported to be running on the sidelines and starting to advance in his recovery. It can't come soon enough. Getting Sternberger and Tonyan more opportunities has a long term gain, but at this point, nearing the mid point of the season, you want to see the team start to play its best ball and get healthy to make a real run.

Sorry. Hands not good enough. Routes not good enough. He's a barely adequate #4.

I definitely understand based on how he plays when hes the 2. It really changes his responsilibies and plays to his strengths as a 3. But based on his #2 game tape, hes a 4 at best. I see the argument.

Gute riding Thompson's coat tails with Rodgers, Adams and Williams

That’s all Gute has done thus far is ride Thompson’s coat tails with inserting Matt LaFluers offense.

Yep. Packers wwnt into this year figuring St. Brown, Funchess and Lazard would all be ahead of MVS.

The argument is he has a 40 percent completion rate with the best QB in the NFL. He SUCKS!!!

Running on the sideline and playing live NFL games and running routes is a big difference. He had a “Surgery” on a core muscle. I’m not trying be negative but you can’t rush that injury back. He probably has a ways to go.

He's young and really healthy and tough. Based on previous similar injuries, early november was best case and mid november was a really good shot.

Unfortunately, he disappears for 5 or 6 games every season. He just can't be counted on.

My goodness that’s just stupid. Prevent defense and terrible special teams play. Is this all for the bettors?

I don't get the fascination with classifying wide receivers. It's really very simple. Can MVS, as part of a WR group, be out on the field regularly with various combinations of other WRs, run routes to get open, and catch passes thrown to him? With MVS, the answer is looking like, no, not consistently.

So what did Mt. Adams do today that was so great?

2 plays in the backfield, and not a tire fire the rest of the game? For him, not sucking is a huge improvement.

This. Didn't see Clark make any plays today.

Clark didn't make plays, but I thought the line did a good job of getting a push, clearing way for LB's to make plays.
